After they had all gotten prepared, Blizz and his travelling troupe would be off to Kalos to go visit the Gym Leader, Clement, and see about taming the abnormally large Galvantula. It would only take a moment before the group would land in Lumiose City with only the sounds of a milling city surrounding them.
"Well, hard to say if we have trouble on the horizon.....Eh, what the heck, we can deal with it. So Blizz, where we starting this adventure? The cafe or the middle of town where we will certainly be spotted?" Beau questioned the Articuno hybrid, slowly beginning to flutter off the ground to float above it. Glancing around their current leader to examine the kid they had with them, the Vivillon hybrid began to closely monitor the child. He wasn't about to let some shiny cool thing change anyone else he knew.

He wasn't about to let some shiny cool thing change anyone else he knew. "Whatever comes of it, we're just going to have to take it." I said to him, taking out a Pokeball to recall my Gallade that brought us here. "It wouldn't be the first time, and I doubt it'll be the last time, that I had to deal with crap like that. I got bigger things to fear than people refusing to be accepting, let alone understanding. At any rate, let's check in at the Snag-A-Cup, since it is along the way." I said to him. I then turned back towards my Gallade. "Thanks Psy. I'll call you later, alright?" "Gal-lade." The Pokemon spoke, finally getting recalled to the ball.

Quietly gazing out of the alley they were situated in, Beau would be able to quickly find the Snag-A-Cup cafe situated a few blocks down the street. What sat between them and the cafe would be the more pertinent problem. It seemed a crowd had began to gather in the stretch between Point A and Point B, with a few signs held aloft their heads.
"Just our luck. We come to town and find the protesters to the this whole new thing in town called equality. And we are a horde of Hybrids." Beau cursed to the group, glancing between the gathered members in order to develop an idea. "Okay, can't really fly over without making this really obvious. Any other ideas, because we're stuck in a dead end."

I said. "Frankly I'm not for trying to fight my way through the crowd. Let's just go around...we don't have to fly anywhere." I said. "There's more than one road that leads to the cafe, last I checked." I said, making my way off.

Glancing around before finally identifying a familiar looking alley, Beau would quickly fly across the street with a quick flap of his wings. "Well, here's our path. Hope this doesn't get any more pear-shaped than it already is." Beau muttered to himself, quickly running down the streets in an effort to find his way to Snag-A-Cup.

Tristen and I continued down the streets, down the alleys, only to notice something that was...kind of bothering me. Not of a irritation, just...more of a curiosity nagging at me. "...do you ever use your own two feet?" I asked.

Beau flipped over to stare back at Blizz with a quirked eyebrow. "I'm supposed to walk? Uh...no. I always wanted to fly, and I will be shot if I should squander my opportunities to do so. Also, it makes easier to be evasive. Many times has that been useful." The Vivillon hybrid told Blizz, giving a smile as he kept up his flight backwards. Right into the dumpster. Letting the loud impact of metal on his bony body ring out, Beau collapsed to the ground and could only stare up at Blizz. "Shut up. Now, where is the Snag-A-Cup again? I lost track of streets three alleys ago."

I don't know Larrymore that well, but his patience must be as tempered as his helmet if he managed to put up with this Vivillion hybrid for so long. "Right here..." I said, turning out of the alley and making my way back onto the main streets, just only a couple of buildings away from the Snag-a-Cup. From where we stood, just as I thought, we circumvented the mob of people. At least for now. Who knows how they would move though soon.

Quietly continuing to float along behind Blizz as he navigated the streets, Beau kept his eyes locked onto the kid they had in tow. Somehow, giving a giant Galvantula to this small hybrid seemed like it was just asking for trouble. But he wasn't going to be challenging that call yet, not when the hybrid he was with could freeze him out of midair without a second thought.
Rounding the corner and checking the streets again to be sure, the Vivillon hybrid quickly took off for the door to Snag-A-Cup. Quickly opening the door and waving the other two over, he hoped this would actually go nicely for once. And he likely just jinxed it with that one. Joyous.

I on the other hand didn't exactly bolt into the cafe like Beau did. Tristen did though. What's gotten those two on edge. Were they really that worried about the crowd? I didn't say anything, though. As soon as I made my way to the door, I made my way through and looked inside, trying to catch sight of Ms. Lavern. "......"

Blizz would be quick to catch sight of Ms. Lavern, quietly working the cafe's bar to supply the drinks for the few patrons inside. If anything, it looked very peaceful inside the cafe today. At least, until Tristan and Beau crashed through the front door and the peaceful patrons began to draw out Pokemon in preparation. Ms. Lavern would simply watch the patrons draw out their Pokeballs before she caught sight of Blizz walking in the door behind the pair, prompting her to shout, "Hold it!" The aggressive patrons would freeze, examining the people in front of them more closely now. As the cafe's customers noticed the SNAGs strapped to each of the hybrid's wrists, they would sit down quietly. "Sorry sire, your friends' sudden arrival during this tumultuous time may have startled my guard up here. Now, if I may ask, why have shown up again so soon? I believed you and the others to have gone to your old base for missions now."

I said, leaning over, looking at Tristen. "You've been acting real off here since before leaving." "Sorry..." Tristen said, rubbing the back of his head. I gave a hard sigh, rubbing the back of my head then looked back towards Lavern. "Hey, Ms. Lavern...got somewhere we can talk?"

Beau gave a quick glance around the room before blowing a small puff of Powder at the seated men and women. "Well, I can step outside for a minute while you take care of this. Care to come along, short stuff?" Beau questioned the Electrike hybrid, giving a small smirk as he began to walk for the door. Maybe he could get some answers about the kid after all.
Ms. Lavern would quickly wave Blizz into the back storeroom that laid just beyond the counter, waiting until the Articuno hybrid entered. Quietly pressing a button that sat hidden within the holding location for the coffee bean bags, a few choice embellishments would appear including a solid steel covering for the door, and the low din of light static would begin to echo through the room. "There. Sealed and rendering any possible listening devices unusable. Now then, what did you wish to talk about?" The dainty girl asked Blizz, giving a light curtsy in lieu of an actual 'Hello'.

"Uh...o-okay." The boy said, looking back towards me for a second or two before answering. He went on to follow Beau back outside. I gave a confused look as Tristen went to take his leave then just shook my head. I then went on to follow Ms. Lavern off towards the back room, crossing my arms for a moment. I almost found it pretty funny. It was a far cry from what she was contending with back at the Battle Chateau. "Yea, sorry for dropping in on very short notice. We're having a bit of an outing, of sorts that is. Tristen ended up getting a Galvantula and its a bit...power hungry. Literally." I said. "We're heading off to the tower to speak to the gym leader. Since we were on the way out there..." I then pulled out the envelope from Sub from my inner vest pocket and handed it to Ms. Lavern. "...Sub wanted me to give this to you."

Beau would turn to Tristan as he exited the cafe, a solid glare locking onto the smaller hybrid. "Now then. Start explaining why you're acting so strange. And don't sell me some story about how this is how you always act, even your weird surrogate dad is noticing something. Now, start talking so I get some idea of who I have backing me up right now." Nova was quick to press the Electrike for as much information as he might be able to shock out of the kid with the sudden personality change.
Lavern carefully grabbed the envelope before tucking it away into her pocket. "I will be sure to examine it later, but may I inquire as to what the envelope contains? And, while I can ask, is there anything we may offer to assist you in your visit, sire?"
