This guild is kind of pointless. The admins already sent out an announcement explaining that they can't fix the game. There were code issues that would have made it possible for somebody to hijack all of our accounts, and the admins chose to put our accounts and the safety of our personal information first. Let it go, okay? We're all sad about it, but they had valid reasons for it and they already apologized and explained why they can't. It's time to move on.

We all do realize that we can't have zOMG! back and it is a BIG disappointment. This guild might not be about bringing back zOMG! but we can definitely share the fun times we had, the difficult quests, and much more to keep zOMG! alive.
Oh, and the move on thing, you could have moved on and not even bother posting here. That should go to everyone that complains.

I didn't intend to be rude, really. I just think that ignoring the mods' messages about the game not being fixable is kind of disrespectful to said mods. They already feel bad about not being able to bring it back, because they know how much the game meant to us. So to make a guild for the express purpose of "convincing them to fix it," or whatever the wording is on the guild home page, is just rude and unfair to them. It's like rubbing in the fact that they had to let us down.

Lyrical Zephyr I didn't intend to be rude, really. I just think that ignoring the mods' messages about the game not being fixable is kind of disrespectful to said mods. So to make a guild for the express purpose of "convincing them to fix it," or whatever the wording is on the guild home page, is just rude and unfair to them. It's like rubbing in the fact that they had to let us down. Well they did let us down, I don't know about you but, I became a Gaian Member only so I could play Zomg, that game was the ONLY reason I ever spent any real money in this community, I mean, don't get me wrong, there are other features that I enjoy, like the arenas, the journals and all the art being shared through here, all and all it's a nice community but, game wise, that was the only interesting one, I enjoyed Heralds of Chaos, but then they removed that from Gaia as well, I mean, sure it's a legit concern when accounts are in danger of being hacked, but the whole situation is kinda disappointing. Zomg was like forgetten, I played it for years and there was no major improvement/change done in the game aside from "fixing" bugs here and there, alot of promises, not a lot of action, at least DMS was opened, as promised, but bottom line, they knew the game wasn't in it's best shape, even if they didn't know the extend of the injuries until they dissected it, they should have some sort of backup plan or at least let us know that efforts are being put into making a few needed changes so this community doesn't die. Zomg was fun and a source of gold, with current inflated MP prices it's impossible to buy anything only with gold collected from (boring) mini-games, we're being bombarded with new fashionable items that, to acquire, you most likely will have to spend real money, but then where are we supposed to enjoy our "dreamavi", Towns? Rally? Yeah, they let us down, they were supposed to give us an update regarding this whole situation and until now they didn't, last report was 12-Nov, apologizing for not giving us the promissed update and all they could come with so far is this: http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/zomg-gaia-s-mmo/zomg-information-update/t.94833751_1/ They let themselves down. If another MMO doesn't come into scene, I'm afraid to say that it won't take long, maybe a couple of years, till Gaia is completely dead. That being said, this is a big issue, the decision of shutting down the game brought and will continue to bring disappointment, regardless of the reason, it was known to happen and expect otherwise would just be silly. I feel betrayed and many others feel the same, they were right, they shouldn't have promised that the game was coming back, that it was down just so they could fix it, so a week or two later they announced it was being shut down. People aren't happy about this and they shouldn't be, they spent money here, some people spent a lot of money here, it's called being professional, at the beggining this community was about fun and friendship, a forum for people to get together, it needed just enough cash to keep it going, once it took the profit direction it should take better care of its customers.I miss Zomg and Gaia is completely pointless right now.
