Personal Information___________________________
Personality:
I keep to myself most times. I like to have my own space so I doesn't feel crowded. My guard is almost always up so this stops me from trusting people. However, I'm very friendly and I'm actually a happy person. I want to open up to people, but I'm afraid of getting to close to anyone. When ever I do open up, I seem to be less guarded, more open and trusting. Or that's what I've noticed over the years. I also become more protective of the person I've come to know and I forget about my own personal safety at times.

Biography___________________________________
For as long as I can remember, I've have been trying to survive. Fighting against the zombies who plague the world. My family and I traveled from sanctuary to sanctuary for the first ten years of my life, hoping that it would be the last. Sadly, these new sanctuaries would be over run by the dead and many survivors would have to flee. It was a shame to see some of them fall as horribly as they did. A few were great strongholds that had been up for over fifty years. The walls had been beaten one too many times and they finally crumbled. There was a group that we traveled with, and each year there would be less and less survivors among us. When I was twelve years old, there were less than twenty survivors in that small group of ours. Most of the people left were of families torn apart by the dead killing them off. Thankfully my family was still in tact. However, that was bound to change.
About three years had passed and it was just around the time where I was turning fifteen. Most of the younger kids in my group had been killed off, so I was the youngest out of the still twenty survivors. No one had died that year, thankfully. We had been traveling towards the Mountain Colony. A man who had joined us told the group that he had come from that colony. It had been a few months since then, but there were at least one hundred people living there. There was shelter. Not as luxurious as other colonies they had been to, but it was safe. There was a new hope put into all of them. Myself included. The survivors made the trip to the mountain. Only to find that there was no one there. There had been a rather large snow storm that blew through the area, so the small town was blanketed with the cold powder. No one was concerned that it looked like the place had been completely abandoned. No one seemed to worry about the eeriness of the place. No one could have imagined what would be taking place that night.
There were no lights on in the small town. Not even the moon emitted any light that night. The only light that had been provided was by the fire in the fireplace to try and warm up the small inn the group had taken residence in. It had died out hours ago. Everyone was resting peacefully for once. No one was up to keep watch. Everything had been locked up and blocked as a precaution, but still. It felt that this place could be the final colony to travel to. We all felt it. Sometime in the night, shadows moved along the frost bitten windows. The moans of the dead were drowned out by the winds of a new storm passing through. No one heard the sounds of windows being broken. No one heard the blockades set up being moved out of the way. The only thing people heard was the first screams of those being attacked. I shot up out of my curled ball in the corner of the room. My brother Jayce did the same. We grabbed the weapons we had been using to defend ourselves. My newly made friend, Matthew, stood on my left with his pistol pointed out into the crowd. We couldn't see anything. It was so dark in the room that we couldn't make out who were the survivors trying to flee or the zombies coming right at us. Matthew shot three times into the dark, hoping that he had hit something. The muzzle flashes gave us only a brief moment of light. That was just enough to see that everyone we had come to travel with were either dead and being devoured or were alive and screaming as they were being eaten alive.
That brief moment also showed a horrific sight for my brother and I. Our parents were dead right in front of us, their lifeless eyes staring directly at us. Matthew told us that we needed to leave and we did. We grabbed everything that we could carry and we took off running. One of the other teenagers, Cierra was her name, had managed to run out and hide behind the building at the entrance of the town. Blood covered pretty much her entire body. My brother had asked if she had been bitten and she hadn't. All of the blood was from her sister. Let's just say, she had been pinned in a corner with her sister in front of her. Not a pretty sight. A few hours after our escape, Jayce suddenly collapses. His eyes turned milky white. His skin changed color. Upon quick inspection, there was a scratch going across his arm. No one in our small group had even noticed because he had thrown on a jacket. I had to be the one to put him out of his misery before he changed completely. In a matter of hours I had lost my whole family and everyone in the group I had gotten so close to. The only people I had left were Matthew and Cierra. We traveled around for the next seven years together. Matthew and I had started a relationship and things were going well between us. We loved each other, we were happy. Along the way we went into an old herbalist store where I found multiple books on the different herbs that could be used for different things. I took them all, finding them potentially useful in the future. Things seemed bright for us. No attacks since the one in the mountains. That all changed when we were ambushed by a group of Savants. There were only three of them, but they had set up such an elaborate trap that we fell into.
There was an old military store that was located on the outskirts of a town that had electricity. All of the weapons had been taken, but at least it was something. It could be a small quiet place to take a days rest in, right? Wrong. Once we entered the store the alarm system goes off. The doors and windows were instantly barred shut, and the Savants appeared out from the back room. I managed to kill the one Savant before it could get to me, but I couldn't say the same for Cierra or Matthew. I killed the other two Savants and both of my friends before they could turn. I had lost everyone I ever knew. My best friend. My lover. My brother. My parents. Those in the traveling group. Everyone I knew was dead. I couldn't cope with any of these losses. I hadn't had the chance to. Now I did. For almost three weeks I staid inside that store. The alarm had been turned off and the bars had been lifted, but still I didn't move from where I had collapsed. My eyes were so sore from the countless hours I cried over the losses of all those I loved. I would have fits of rage when the depression subsided. In those rages I would go out into the town and scream at the top of my lungs for the damned to come get me. By the time I left that small town, I had left behind a body count of over a hundred dead. Most of them were drifters and some were Savants, but it didn't matter to me. They were all the same in my eyes. I took all the supplies that I could carry, leaving behind the ones that Cierra and Matthew had carried. Before I left, I grabbed a handful of dog tags and etched in the names of the ones I had lost and put them on the dog collar I wore around my neck. I would have more, but I didn't know the names of those who traveled with me.
During the first twenty-two years of my life, I lost my entire family, both biological and adoptive, my best friend and my lover. I also don't sleep anymore as a result of the attack in the mountains. I haven't since I was sixteen when the nightmares started. When I do sleep, I relive that night over and over again as a horrid nightmare left on repeat. I fear the night when the sun goes down and the dark. I have to have constant light around me in order to see what is in front of me, in order to feel safe. I will never forget the dead look in my parents faces, the plea of my brother to kill him before he turned, the memory of having to take the lives of the last two people I loved. The MetroPlex is the last save haven that I will be traveling to. If it somehow is over thrown, I refuse to flee. I would rather end it all before having to flee again. It's taken me too long to get here. This is my last hope. My last sanctuary from the dead outside these walls.

Clairvoyance is like a psychic ability, just like being a medium. They see and talk to those who have passed away. She can just sense where people are and see what they're doing.

Tohma Winters
Appearance__________________________________
Basic Information______________________________
Name: Tohma Winters
Nick Name: Tohma or Bubby (my little sister's nick name for me)
Physique: Athletic build. Use to be a runner in my old colony before moving into the MetroPlex.
Health: Minor case of Tourette's Syndrome. It doesn't happen often, but my right eye twitches making it look like I'm winking at someone.
Strengths: Stealth and hand to hand
Weaknesses: My little sister and my anger.
Power Roster_________________________________
No Powers
Personal Information___________________________
Personality: It's been said that I'm like a mule. I'm stubborn and don't like to do things that step out of my comfort zone, which is rather true. That being said, I sometimes get angry when someone tries to force me to do something. I am very protective of my little sis since she's the only family I've got left in this world. I care about others, but I won't go out of my way to help them (unless it's a life or death situation of course. I'm not heartless!). I try to keep everyone's spirits up, including my little sister's.
Likes: ✓ Going out on runs (Scavenging) ✓ Reminiscing old memories ✓ Hot Chocolate ✓ Climbing trees
Dislikes: ✘ Isolation/No contact ✘ Feeling weak ✘ Straying too far from my sister ✘ Traveling alone
I had a seemingly normal life. I was raised in the Metro by my mom and dad. I was taught how to use knives and guns to defend myself against the dead when I was just five years old. Since then I have continued my craft in using knives as my main go to weapons of choice since guns attract them. Why bring in more dead after just killing them? Anyways, silent kills are my kind of thing, so is being stealthy. That's why I was always usually sent out to do runs to find supplies or to hunt. I could bring in just as much food or supplies as men and women who were older and stronger than me. They just had to carry the food in for me. By the time I was ten I was going out on my own and bringing in my own supplies for the city. I was praised for my hard work. Around that same time my parents decided to have another child, and that's when my sister Mahri was born. (It sounds like Maury but the A sound is like the A sound in March). It's a strange name I know, but that's what my parents named her. She was the cutest thing in the world, but she was a premie. Meaning, she was born a bit too early. Either way, I loved her so much that I would keep her with me and take care of her in the middle of the night instead of mom or dad. They appreciated the help.
When I was seventeen and Mahri was seven, something bad happened. There had been a breach on the wall. Those skeleton things had made it past the barriers and up to the top. Our parents were taking their turn on watch. They were the first to be killed. I didn't find out about this until after the alarm was lifted and those who survived made their way slowly back to their homes. I was later told by one of the others who was taking his turn on the wall that my mother wanted him to give something to me. I took what had been left to me and my sister. It was their wedding rings and the last photo of the family together. Those were the things left to us. Marhi was too young to understand what had happened, but once she was old enough I told her. That day we both cried. We were the only family we had left. Our grandmother had passed just a few months before our parents deaths. Sweet thing my grandmother was. My heart still aches from our losses, but I have to keep moving forward. Not just for myself, but for Marhi. She needs me, and I'm not going to let her grow up here alone.

Power Roster_________________________________
1. Enhanced hearing and smell
~ With her eyesight on the decline, her sense of hearing and smell have grown stronger.
~ On a good day she can hear movement from about a half mile away in any direction. As for voices, she can hear them clearly through thick walls and about fifty feet away from her.
~ She can pick up on smells depending on how far or how close she is to the object emitting that scent. The farthest she can pick up scents from is forty feet away.
~ In her crazed state she is more animal than human. So, her sense of hearing and smell doubles like her strength and speed.
~ Her hearing goes up to a mile away in any direction and up to seventy-five feet away from her.
~ Her sense of smell doubles to eighty feet away.
~ Being that she's more animal than human in her crazed state, she can pick up on scents that smells off. Much like actual animals who can tell when someone is sick.
2. Regeneration
~ This goes for both parts of her. Normal and Crazed
~ She heals rather quickly. Cuts, even deep ones, heal within moments. Broken bones or more fatal injuries take up from mere minutes to hours.
Crazed: 3. Enhanced speed and strength
~ Due to the experiments done on her, her body mutates in a way that her body becomes stronger and faster than normal.
~ Her muscles double in size while in her crazed state.
~ Her strength doubles. She can lift thirty pounds and punch something with that much force.
~ Her speed doubles. She can run up to twenty to twenty-four miles per hour.
Personal Information___________________________
Personality: I'm a happy, cheerful teenager who looks for the good in life instead of the bad. I don't let my blindness affect me negatively. Positivity is key in order to survive. I tend to be a bit clingy towards my brother, Tohma. He's the only family I have left. I easily get worried about him when he doesn't return home after a certain time. Crazed: She becomes cynical, distrusting of those close to her. Her mind is filled with disturbing thoughts. All she wants to do is kill and quench her blood lust. She loses all empathy and sympathy for people, so that makes killing people much easier for her.
Likes: ✓ Bunnies ✓ The rain ✓ Humans ✓ Blood
Dislikes: ✘ Being Blind ✘ Loud Noises * ✘ Fire * ✘ Foul odors * * = Both normal and crazed Mahri
Extra Info: She has become the experiment replacement for Kasster Amsel due to his disappearance. Neither she or her older brother, Tohma, know this. They think the testing is done to stop or slow the progression of her declining eyesight, or create a cure for it.
Biography___________________________________
Life was average living in the city. Other than having a few breaches on the wall every so often, everyone lived normal lives. Well, except for myself. I wasn't normal. At least I wasn't born that way. My mother was only six and a half months pregnant when I came into the world. The doctors at the Lab Corp told my parents and my older brother Tohma that I would be fine. Maybe I would be a bit slow at learning things, but otherwise I'd be okay. That wasn't really the case at all. By the time I was only three months old, Tohma could notice that there was something wrong with me. My breathing was weird he said. Having gone back to the doctor, he finds that both my lungs and my eyes weren't fully developed yet. As a result, I would be cursed with having a mild case of asthma and an ever declining eyesight. Each year I got older, the worse my eyesight got. The doctors tested on me every month or so, trying to see if they could find some way to stop the progression of my blindness. While at the Lap Corp my brother became friends with a boy named Kass. He saw him everyday when we were there. We got so close to him I started to consider him my brother too! We had the same hair and eye color. Pretty neat if you ask me. After I turned four years old, Kass had suddenly disappeared. I often wonder where he went to. Anyways, the testing did nothing for me or my vision. It would just get worse and worse each year went by. Eventually they stopped testing for a while and gave me glasses when they had them in the lens's I needed.
The testing wouldn't start up again until I was seven years old. It was also around the time both Tohma and I lost our parents. A few months before that we had just lost our grandmother. My brother, he, sort of had a melt down after that. He didn't talk to anyone for a long time. He wouldn't come out of his room. He wouldn't even let me try and comfort him. I became worried about him. I was sure that he was trying to wrap his head around what happened. We both struggled through that awful time, but we managed to get through it. He works for the man who owns the bar who's apartment we live in now, and he takes both his shift and mine for the rounds on the wall. I try to help out, but he won't let me do much. He worries for my safety I know, but I want to help out too. I don't want to be sitting in the apartment on my own with nothing to do. At least I have my sai's I can practice with when he isn't around. About a month or so after our parents died, Lap Corp started doing these new types of tests on me. They said that what they were doing were theories thought up while I was on a testing hiatus. The head doctor at the time told Tohma to bring me in so they could start, and that's what he did. Sadly, nothing they've promised has worked. My vision is still on a slow, downhill spiral. However, I've noticed a change in me over the last seven years. It's been a slight, subtle changes, but I know it's there. I've been having a lot of black outs and that frightens me. What could the doctors at the Lab Corp be doing to me?
