"Hey Mellow, let's check out this store." Trisha clopped into the craft store of the maul. sure they were really there for sugar cubes and minipet snacks, but the ghoul couldn't resist the call of crafts.
Pulling the boil out of his room had been quiet the chore. It was made much harder by the fact that she didn't have sugar cubes on hand. That was half the point of the trip really, Trisha had her back with her and ready to haul the things she needed. But without the key ingredient, it made it that much harder to convince her fellow hooved friend to brave the great outdoors. Such a shy thing he was.
When she decided on the trip, really she had put it off a little too long, while had to take a companion. Part of it was she hadn't been able to catch the attention of a friend in a while and the other part was, well honestly she was just dreading the cold just a bit. Not that she really minded the cold, it wasn't such a big deal, but cold on unshoed hooves when there was the potential lull of a nice warm room made it really really hard. She had run out of sugar cubes a while ago, but there was the Cafeteria that was so much closer, despite the grumbling from the gnomes when she emptied the sugar cube bowl into her bag. But recently they seemed to disappear from the severing table. When she asked the school had run out. she wasn't sure how the whole school had run out but it was far pasted time to buy more.
"I'm so glad spring is rolling back in again, I thought I saw some fresh grass growing on the school grounds. Soon it will be tall enough to properly run in. Isn't that exciting Mellow? And flowers. The pansies should be blooming soon. When they do I'll make you a crown of them. for now... I really should pick up some ribbons and supplies." she stared her way into the store.

The pony shook his lovely green head, he'd tried to transform into his natural smaller (which he never admit) form. However, Trisha, being his neighbour for a while knew his insufficient escape tricks well enough to drag him out.
A simple shirt, his cowboy style cape and long boots, the ceffyl dwr walked behind the ghoul with a grumpy face, hands in pocket. He'd even opened his mouth to reject her, but she was Trisha, the monster ghoul who lost some screws in her mind. Thus, he was reluctantly pulled out when she threatened with a bright smile, offered to carry him. Mellow's face flushed obliviously as she talked about the sugar cubes in cafeteria, he'd grabbed from there often as his snacks, they were free anyways. He chose to remain silent.
Mellow rarely nod for the comment the grasses will be like to run onto, as a hooved species, he loved running. Yet, shortly, he widened his eyes and retreated from the ghoul mentioning flower crowns. The ribbons, along themselves were hard to bear, not to say some girly flower crown on the mighty boil. There were millions of horses racing across his poor mind, to stop forthcoming conspiracies, he halted, refused to move.
He didn't follow, thinking she'd tricked him that they were buying some sugar cubes. His eyes looked at the special snack shop banner afar and flicked back to the craft store.
Nope.

If Mellow knew what was in Trisha's mind, he was going to be pissed off and uselessly attempted to insult her back like a child. The call startled him as he sensed coming danger, his alarm told him to move his feet and flee. Yet, he was fossilized.
Mellow, it's alright, she'd said. {From where to where is this alright? ( ̄◇ ̄; )} What she thought she understood was what worried the boil, especially when she seemed looking at him as something so pitiful. He wasn't scared or frightened, he just disliked ribbons and girly stuff being put onto him.
Her assurance didn't improve anything, the boil had no intention to move himself into the store, waited a while, the ghoul took his arm and dragged him in, like always. He'd yell if he considered that not something a mighty pony would do, his pressing against the ground created minute friction in stopping the bull ghoul simply meant strength.
His eyes glanced at the crowd looking at them, upset. { What're you looking at? Didn't see someone getting pulled into a store before? Shoo (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ } ".....No. Trisha. No." He made himself clear.

Security blanket, yup, he had one when he curled under it while reading Critter and made disapproved face at one of its frequent posters. He'd wondered why there wasn't a dislike option that he could press. Instead, he favourited other's posts to show his stance.
The word 'silly' made Mellow frowned, but it only took one second for his face to be blank again. He looked down his boots and pulled his shirt, maybe the answer is yes. Since both lowered their heads, when Mellow looked up, his head hit on her chin. {It must be made of metals, it hurts (T _ T) } His ears dropped for the pain, but he wasn't crying.
"...It looks more like you need shoes, rather than me." The rare comment was to hide his plight and gave her a direction. It wasn't that he cared about her feet, he turned and walked towards the snack store himself. The boil took a glance at the ghoul followed closely behind, before entering the store.

Mellow's target was crystal clear from the start, a few seconds to scan the medium sized store before he brought himself to the section of sugar cubes. He stood there, captivated by the fancy display of sugar made into different shapes.
He'd forgotten he had a companion, and gulped as drools secreted from the mouth closely shut. The boil was making an expression rarely seen on his face, even more obvious when he reached out to grab Trisha's bowl of sugar cubes. His yellow eyes were subtly shimmering with devotion less the body language.
Trisha, who was left behind, would have searched a while in the store before locating where the boil was. He vanished like a gust once they entered the door, it was his talent and it saved him many times from the ghouls' evil claws in the past.
When Trisha saw the Ceffyl dwr, he was munching at the samples on a plate, ears twitching in a delightful cadence.

Hearing what Trisha said, Mellow turned his head away to hide the mild blush on his face. It somehow hurt his man pride to let a mare to pay for him, but he had no choice. Thus he gave her an unwilling nod for acknowledgment.
His eyes followed her eyes, and picked up a green one to try when she mentioned it was good. Munching, his emotionless face showed no cues but the tail sold him out. He'd looked at the sugar and then Trisha's bright smile before he made a slow affirmed nod. "Matcha....and mint" He mumbled softly after munched the normal square shape that had a refreshing green color.
Mellow approved of the soft green, thought of something, looked around until he found what he wanted. It was a free sugar cube jar consists of colorful letters, using the clamp, he'd picked up six of them, all yellow and ran to the cashier. A while latter, he came back, face turned aside while he handed her a long rectangular treat container. From left to right, the letters were T, R, I, S, H, A. He brought it with his seeds as a cheap thank you gift but he didn't say anything to her, just pushed it to her side for her to take it. A pink ribbon was asked to tie the box.
"Are you done here?" He'd asked after she took the box.
