Welcome to the newly renovated Battle Frontier, now with ten facilities in all! Think you got what it takes to take on some of the most challenging trainers the world has to offer? Then come on in! Be sure to get your Battle Pass at the gate in order to keep track of your Battle Points and symbols.

-----

The Battle Frontier is looking better than ever. You can see that they expanded the island to make room for the three new facilities; Battle Castle, Battle Hall, and Battle Arcade. Outside of the now whopping ten facilities you see numerous food stands, Pokemon themed rides, street performers, and so on. It's like one giant carnival that never ends. One would have to be looking for boredom to be so in a place like this. And strangely enough you notice that the weather is always lovely here and the climate is beautiful. You may never want to leave this place.

-----

Battle Facilities:

Battle Twin Towers
-Ability Symbol
-Frontier Brain: Salon Maiden Anabel (West Tower) Tower Tycoon Palmer (East Tower)

Noland has a low chance of appearing with one random frontier permitted legend.

Battle Pyramid
-Brave Symbol

Battle Dome
-Tactics Symbol

Battle Hall
-Charisma Symbol

Amaranth wasn't sure at all how she ended up with a Battle Pass, only that she had one thrust into her hands and was told to "go have fun". Recent events had continued to dwell on her, and she wasn't sure if she should've gone in the first place. Really, she was practically dragged there in some way or another, and by now, she found herself staring at the entrance to the Battle Palace.

She stood there for only a couple of minutes, but it felt like an eternity before she slowly stepped inside, trying not to let the building's exterior somehow intimidate her more than her mind was already doing.

"Welcome noble hybrid to the Battle Palace, a place truly in touch with nature and inner peace." A man in a robe greeted Amaranth. "Will you and your partners be challenging our facility today? And if so, which kindred Pokemon will participate?"

Amaranth stayed more quiet than she really needed to, trying to find some way of remaining calm. Luckily, the interior of the palace helped, though she had a hard time seeing herself as noble in the least. "I... will?" Though she sounded unsure with her response, her answer became more clear whether she wanted it to or not.

What started as her making sure she didn't grab the ball containing her Butterfree ended up with three others slipping out of her pocket, each of them opening to reveal her Carbink, Kangaskhan and Togekiss. Upon realizing this, she quickly recalled each of them and bowed her head in apology. "Sorry, I'm usually better about that..." Deciding to keep the three balls in her hands, she hoped it'd be enough of an answer for who she'd be using.

"Most excellent choices, ma'am. If you would like to please step through into the arena. And remember, we ask trainers to only observe, let your Pokemon make all the decisions." The man said with a deep bow and extended an arm towards a doorway lined with flowering vines.

Once Amaranth passed through the doorway she would find herself standing on a balcony which wrapped all the way around the highest point of this room. Below the balcony she could see what appeared to be the battlefield, the only indication that it was a battlefield were the flowers growing in the shape of a battlefield's design. The rest of the area was crowded with trees, bushes, a few small ponds, boulders, and other natural scenery. It was a beautifully cultivated indoors environment which was lit up by only natural light coming in from the sun roof above.

"Presenting our most honorable challenger, Amaranth of Orre!" A woman called out from one of the long sides of the balcony. "We are delighted to have you here at the palace, ma'am." She said to Amaranth with a bow. "And her opponent, Omkar of the Sevii Islands!" And with that announcement Amaranth's opponent appeared from the doorway on the other
side of the room, a man dressed in a plain white robe and a turban on his head.

"Man we both find some form of victory in this match." He told Amaranth. "Let the battle begin!" The woman cried out and Omkar immediately tossed a ball over the balcony, the device popping open and releasing into the field below a Miltank.

Tristen started to walk about the area. The boy was told about the Battle Frontier and the many facilities that it held. At the end was a really powerful trainer, powerful figures that even his father figure as it were even has trouble shutting down. He remembers a couple years ago a story that was told to the boy about coming to a stalemate against the Brain at the Battle tower. He was also told stories about the Arcade Star that has yet to lose to the Articuno hybrid. The thoughts made the boy swallow in nervousness. He didn't think he could make it all the way to the frontier brain in any place. That said, he took the advice to go just to get more battling experience.......just leave behind Blitzle for now for obvious reasons.

Tristen walked through the areas, looking at the various sites. One area, a heavy mechanized looking area. The Battle Factory. The boy was told about this one. This one you couldn't even use your own Pokemon, only the ones that the factory gives to you. The boy was still on his way to getting experienced with the ones that he had, he didn't want to take chances with ones he doesn't know the first thing about. Soon, the pyramid...a big, tall, behemoth where every step is a case of exploration. Tempting, it was, and maybe the best odds at finding the Frontier Brain...or spring a whole boatload of traps and ambushes. "People really likes these things?" The boy asked, mainly to himself.

As the boy continued, he actually found something. Something rather seemingly simple. The massive stadium like Battle Dome. Simple, tournament-style setting. A far cry from the likes of climbing a pyramid or going around the innards of a snake or wrecking the inside of a palace. "......" Well the boy was here to get experience...why not here? He made his way to the Battle Dome, hoping to do his father figure proud.

Leslie stepped up to the Battle Frontier, gripping a Battle Pass in her one hand while holding onto a satchel with the other. Standing up at the entrance to the Battle Hall, she smirked before pushing into the room. "Okay, so where do I sign up to beat some people up?" She blurted out, giving a slight swing with her secondary mouth as she walked further into the room. This was going to be fun.

On one hand, the battlefield was one of the nicest looking places Amaranth could say she's been in apart from a few parts of Kalos. On the other, she had a feeling she might be in over her head as her opponent showed himself. Nodding her head and keeping in mind that her only option was to observe, she looked at the ball that held her Kangaskhan. She hoped she had made the right choice, that she could trust these three to do their best.

Or maybe Kangaskhan would destroy the whole place in rage, she really had no idea. Still, she tossed the ball at once, revealing a Kangaskhan that took one look at Miltank and wondered why she was being sent out to go fight a cow. That is, before promptly going after her at once and stopping just short of a full-force punch, using the Fake Out as an intimidation tactic.

Kaya found his way into the Battle Frontier, a Battle Pass in his hand and the key he'd found on his last training mission dangling from a charm bracelet on his other wrist. And, of course, Rise was resting in it's scabbard on the ring in his back. He wasn't sure exactly why he had come out here but doing something related to training must be better than sitting around doing nothing, right?

In the end, he had found his way to the forefront of the Battle Pike, not even sure what it was yet. "What could it hurt?" He asked himself, walking inside to investigate.
PostPosted: Sat Mar 28, 2015 3:37 pm

"Welcome to the Battle Dome!" Shouted a man as Tristen entered. "What's ya name boy? Aw man let me see that pass." The attendant said, snatching Tristen's pass up and immediately going over to a nearby computer. "Tristen huh? Sweet name man. So you competing? Of course you are, why would you be here there!" He said with a laugh, bunching more keys on the computer. "There, all signed up. Just pick which three Pokemon you're using and deposit the rest in this here PC for now. When you're ready go through those double doors right there and you'll find yourself in the locker room. Wait there until you're called for your first battle!" The man said, slapping Tristen on the back. "Rock the dome, bro!"

Other than the colorful man the lobby of the dome was huge and packed with trainers and people just spectating on the massive TVs hanging from the ceiling. This place looked more like a wrestling stadium than a Pokemon battling place, people were even shouting at the matches on the TVs and he could even hear screaming from where ever the battlefield was. A rather loud place in general.

------

"Like, welcome to the Battle Hall hun!" A busty woman dressed in what might be considered 'high fashion' greeted Leslie. "You participating, huh? Like oh em gee, that's cool! So I'm like sure you know the rules if not you can read them on that screen over there. To make a long story short just scan your pass on that computer over there to sign up and deposit all your Pokemon but one. Once you're ready you enter through those doors over there and onto the catwalk you go hun! Oh and, if you want girlfriend you can use our wardrobe room to change into something a little more...fashionable? This place is all about style and flair you know." Did she just insult her outfit?

Any who, the Battle Hall seemed to be very glitzy with tons of posters of various trainers everywhere. Leslie could even hear people gossiping with each other about this trainer and that trainer. It also appeared that due to only using one Pokemon a trainer and a Pokemon became tied together as a fashion pair almost. Was this a place of battle or a fashion show?

The sudden Fake Out would startle the Miltank, as intended. The cow would instinctively curl its self up into a Defense Curl, remaining there own moving out of fear. Or was it anticipation? Who knows.

----

"Hello, and welcome." A man dressed in a fine suit and wearing sunglasses greeted Kaya. The room he entered was dimly lit but from what he could see decorated with fine velvet furnishings and silk drapes, all in a Seviper color scheme. "Care to challenge the Battle Pike, hm? If so show me your Battle Pass if you dare and deposit all but three of your unfortunate Pokemon in our PC. If you still have the courage to continue pass through the red curtains and begin your miserable journey." He said with a snicker.
PostPosted: Sat Mar 28, 2015 3:56 pm

Kaya was enjoying the scenery here when he entered. Nice furnishings, great ambiance. And then the creep with the sunglasses started talking. "Nice try at freaking me out. Not happening, though." He said as he walked over the PC, depositing three of his Pokemon. With the three that remained he released two of them.

Taking a stone in each hand, he touched his Shiny Stone to his Togetic and Fire Stone to his Vulpix at the same time. The two glowed and shined, lighting up the the dark room for a few moments as they grew and metamorphosed into their fully-evolved forms. With his Now-Togekiss and now-Ninetails on either side of him, he released his Carbink and approached the man again "I'm taking your challenge." He announced, showing his pass to the man before walking through the curtains after he recalled his Pokemon.

This place looked more like a wrestling stadium than a Pokemon battling place, people were even shouting at the matches on the TVs and he could even hear screaming from where ever the battlefield was. A rather loud place in general.

Suddenly Tristen was starting to feel he made a mistake. The place was loud and already given Tristen a slight headache. That said, he would be committed to this. Considering he was registered without even so much as a 'Are you Sure' out of someone, yea, pretty locked in now. Tristen would then look at the PC and go over towards it. So he had to put in half his party and take the other half, the half he intends on using, with him. "...um..." He ended up having to think pretty hard about it. These were going to be really tough trainers and he has to take this all the way through however long this tournament was.

The obvious choice to take with him into the tournament was Dragonite. He would need a lot of attack power, the boy thought, and the dragon had that in spades. That said, he had to think. He couldn't rely on just his Dragonite though. He was always told that he would get punished on the battlefield for using Dragonite as a crutch. He wanted to make sure that such a thing didn't happen.

The second choice wouldn't be anywhere near as easy. The boy was always taught in battles like these, have Pokemon that are diverse, spread out, with various types and types of attacks, rather they be damaging or not. The next one that came to mind was finally Natu. Natu while it wasn't by no means as powerful as Dragonite, it did have a couple of gamechanger moves that could turn the tide of a fight in a really big hurry as many a Snagem has seen in the past. Moves that he hoped that could help him out as well in this tournament.

The third choice was even more excruciating. It would be one of those times where he wished that Blitzle wasn't shadowfied, otherwise he would have quickly went to him at this point. The little zebra could have probably rounded him out. That wasn't the case. Eevee was tenacious, but didn't have a wide assortment of moves that he cared for. Castform had a whole bunch of tricks at its disposal, but some of those could easily give the advantage to his opponent as well with what it has to do to do these moves. Mawile also came to mind, the one who had ultimately filled in for Blitzle, like Eevee didn't have a whole lot of variety to go from, despite its seemingly iron-clad defenses. Then finally...the last one...

With a bit of reluctance, the third choice would end up to be Galvantula. Tristen already saw a problem in here because of what he was taught. While Galvantula was pretty strong and did have a good array of moves, it was a bit on the frail side and even more so, he realized that someone with Rock Pokemon or even rock type attacks would ruin his day in a massive hurry. The price one pays for not having a diverse team in the first place.

With Natu, Galvantula, and his Dragonite chosen, he threw the rest into the PC and went off to the double doors like he was told to wait to battle.

Leslie was only able to stare in awe as what could only be referred to as real life Barbie walked up to her and spoke like she was out of some bad sorority movie. What level of hell had she just entered into? And then she started hearing veiled insults. Holding back the overwhelming urge to pop Iron Defense and club the silicon valley girl into the moon, the Mawile hybrid placed a dozen or so of her Pokeballs into the deposit bin before smacking her Battle Pass across the scanner. Walking over to the wardrobe room with a stilted walk in efforts to look 'natural', she quickly changed into something she thought would work well for a stage outfit. And out she went, Pokeball stuffed into her second mouth and a whole lot of people who needed elimination in her mind. Wait, what had she put on for a stage costume?

This alone was enough to make Kangaskhan stop and wonder what Miltank was thinking, or if she scared it that easily. Her glance turned into a constant Leer, though she stayed back in anticipation of the Miltank's actions. Maybe she really was levelheaded when she wasn't rampaging all over her opponent. Maybe.
