Merc Kats are a male only race of mercenaries who live in a kingdom on an island serving their King. They are completely alone on this island except for any mates and children they have. Wolf like in appearance, they are very business minded and loyal to their king. They each have a job and follow it completely. They are to check in with their king frequently, and do their jobs discreetly. They are Mercenaries by nature and regular ones(not working for the king) can be hired for any job by other kats.

Their wings are sharp and made of metal, they are meant as weapons and shields more than to be used to fly with. The Mercs are strong enough that their strength mixed with their magic allows them to use their wings for flying, but they don't typically use them for non battle purposes.

Long ago the Merc God worked up a surprise with the Kryenae and gave the King a small robot as a reward for all of his hard work in keeping track of his men. But not long after that, the God and King found they had to use the robot for a secondary use; more than just keeping track of missions. Some ebil kats were trying to steal the Mercs eye pieces and use them for themselves. From that day on the King decreed that all Merc's had to have their eyepieces attached to their heads at birth. So, he enlisted the help of the kryenae who worked with the Mercs to update their tech, to modify it to be a part of them. They also made it so the King could technically control them if he so wanted to. Like an army.

You see, these eye pieces are very special. Alone, by themselves, they are nothing but a material accessory. But, when worn, the user's magic activates it making a resource for the Mercs. Whatever or whoever they look at the eyepiece scans and tells them what they are looking at. A reading displays on the eyepiece itself showing them what they are looking at, or the race of someone living. Anything known about that race or that thing shows on the 'screen' next. They also link up to each other so any other Merc can see what each one is looking at. The King's robot can take all of the information and store it.

Merc Kats are strong and powerful, both physically and magically, but they are to act responsibly with it(no god modding). They care more about their own agenda than about others, and their main reasoning for breeding is for bringing more Mercs to the kingdom. They are completely business minded and always neutral.

Kingdom

Racial and Breeding Rules/Information
1. They are neutral.
2. They are raised to be very business minded.
3. They live within their kingdom on their island.
4. They never harm others unless it is a direct order, to protect themselves, or to protect another if absolutely necessary.
5. They are a male only race.
6. In mating and flinging they tend to care more about what the other person brings 'to the table' than about emotions.
- They aren't heart less, they simply see reproduction as a way to grow their ranks.
7. They are assigned jobs by the king.
8. They are given an eyepiece at job assignment that is attached to them so that no one can remove it. It taps into their magic to tell them about who and what they are looking at.
9. They can use any demi who doesn't alter the alignment of their children.
10. Any Merc children should be neutral, no exceptions.

Very important!
1. For now, they can only be used for neutral freaks. They can not be used for good or ebil elites yet. This may change later on.
2. All Mercs received must post in the Merc thread to receive a job. Even if you don't actually rp, they need to be assigned one.

Custom and Flatsale Rules/Information
(Some were taken from the Faekat thread and guild.)
1. No cosplay features to non cosplay kats. Themes are allowed within reason.
2. No payment plans.
3. Faekats cannot be based on real life people.
4. Faekats cannot be based on deceased pets.
5. You can only have one pending racial custom at a time.
6. Light edits are allowed, but only light clothing and accessories or simple hair edits and light accessories.
7. Cosplays are not allowed here.
8. Trades must be sent as soon as possible. Flatsales will be rerolled after three days if a trade isn't sent.

Other Rules/Information:
1. Sox and Love reserve the right not to sell or color Mercs to/for people if given a reason for it.
2. Please don't beg, bug, or bother Sox or Love for gifts.
3. Please do not post in this thread unless there is a sale or customs open. All questions should be in pms to me or quoting Love Renewed in the main thread.
4. Please save all certs and uncerts to your own servers and do not direct link.
5. Do not take any images that do not belong to you.
6. Please be nice, and follow all ToS and Gaia rules too.
7. I won't stop you from entering Flatsales and Customs each time, just try to be fair to each other when you win.

Customs
Customs are 30k each, all trades should go to King Merc Kat. You can post up to five forms, but please only post once. Update that one post as necessary.
