Old Joining thread

So your lion(Or leopard, or cheetah, or hybrid, etc.) wants to become a beach bum! Well, you're in the right place! Once upon a time you would PM the mule, and need an RP, but no more! All we ask is that you fill out the form below and post it here!

Wait, there's more! Have you noticed both the new owner's list thread and the extra mule post in it? AND the new PB! Well, the PB is so we can have all the images in case somebody wants throwbacks, but images are otherwise missing! The new list is to make things much easier to update, and the extra post is for lions who have an unknown fate! With the new PB, this means there's likely a few lions unaccounted for in the main owner's list - Their owner may have left Gaia, or the shop, or just haven't been in the shop yet but were given a cub to encourage them to come in and say hi and join the shop! Some of these lions, for IC reasons, are PRESUMED dead, but may not BE dead. This extra post is for such lions, and they will be posted in there until their owners come make their own post in the list, at which point said lions will be removed! For these lions, please fill in the second form of this post!

As an example, Chafuko'dimbwi's file name is wavepool.jpg, some lions have momdad#.png for a file name, or Na'me Enam's file name being name.png instead of their full name - This allows us to plug the right name in with the right file name!

Old Rank Change & Update thread

Congratulations, your Bahari is an adult now, or they've been in the pride for some time! And your lion is hankering for a change, aren't they? Either because they defaulted into a rank(Growing) or because they've decided to change career paths. This is the post for you!

So, you want to change rank..
1. Post the form below in this thread
2. Wait for a PM from the mule, it will either accept, reject or want to talk to you about your choice.
3. Depending on the rank you want to change to, you may need an RP before their rank will officially change.

Old breeding permission thread

[--RULES--]
1. THERE IS NOW A BLANKET PERMISSION TO BREED, BUT YOU MUST POST HERE BEFORE YOU BREED.
We still ask that you post here before you breed. This is so that we know who is breeding and that you are following the rules that have been set out in the pride (both ooc, and via ic traditions).

2. If both parents are in the Bahari'mtoto or Kizingo'zaa, they can breed as normal, this is not considered a 'rogue' breeding.
Pairs are blessed via rituals. However, certs aren't a requirement as there can sometimes be a delay in these becoming available. If you lack a proper pride cert, just link your JRP.

3. If your Bahari'mtoto lion is in a loving and committed relationship with a lion/lioness from another pride, then they may post to breed.
This means that if your lion is promised/mated/spoken for or forever in love with individuals from other prides or rogues (a permanent partnership), then you may ask Ram for permission to 'wed' and have children! Yep yep, this means your beau can keep travelling if they sorely need to explore without repercussions!

4. Divorce is possible.
While we would love for every partnership to stay the same forever, RL happens and people disappear. In this case you can break off 'pairs' and seek out another mate to pair your lion with.

The secret words are shark teeth - This will become relevant soon enough!

IC Pairings that seek a divorce with BOTH individuals still active will require IC permission from Ram. Obviously I won't say no, but please be wary this is highly discouraged.

5. Rogue breedings are discouraged.
I will NEVER discourage plotting, while I actively encourage plotting and fun, please keep the Bahari'mtoto values in mind when you're looking for plots, even rogue ones! n_n

The Bahari’mtoto favour a family up-bringing. Rogue cubs are believed to cause unrest with the sea. However, if you have an idea for a plot involving a rogue breeding, PM the mule with your completed form, plus a little extra info regarding your plot.

6. Adolescent breedings are highly discouraged.
The pride will care for the cubs as they do with all offspring but they will be less than impressed with the parents. As adolescents they have yet to make peace with the ocean and are not considered to be mentally prepared for adult-life.

7. New! You must have a complete post within the owner's list!
With the new owner's list comes a new blanket permission to breed... IF your post is up to date! Remember that it is now YOUR repsonsibility to have all your members accounted for. We'll be double-checking to make sure it's up-to-date and let you know in PM if something's amiss! We'll try our best to catch it before you land a slot xD
