Tollak was practically radiating with glee as he lied down in a patch of grass near the edge of the forest in the pride. He was laughing to himself happily and even rolled around a few times before deciding to simply remain on his back and cloud-gaze best he could.
He was having a good day! No, a great day! Not only had he gone a-viking earlier that morning but he had also managed to return with a thrall in tow. The idea that he had managed to catch another thrall in addition the one had tricked a while ago made him feel all bubbly and happy.
Bubbly and happy wasn't really how Tollak normally was. He usually had some sort of serious expression riddled on his face or was just plain scowling because someone had annoyed him again.
But not today! Nope! Today was a good day and he was all smiles!

Omlaug wondered about adventure. When was her life going to become like the stories so many reavers and adventurers of their pride shared? She had not ever gone out into the rogue lands or on a viking and was not sure if she really wanted to or not.
No, of course she wanted to. She wanted the fun of it, the thrill of it, and of course all the treasure she could bring back!
But what if it went wrong? What if she was hurt or she messed up or, worse yet, she did something stupid?
She was a fairly sheltered lioness, at least since becoming an adult and starting her own life. She lived on her own, mostly, and did not spend a lot of time with others.
Now she felt she was old enough and bored enough to finally start looking for a real life. For adventure and trouble and treasure. All those fun things she dreamed about, but was not quite brave enough to go for. She wandered around the pride today, and she was surprised that the first face she saw was a very happy looking male. Someone that seemed approachable and not scary or intimidating. That was a good place to start.
"Hello," she said, watching him carefully as she approached.

"Hmm?" The lion tilted his head to the side upon hearing someone speaking to him. He looked in the direction of the lioness nearing and Tollak, in some sort of effort to look presentable turned over to rest on his belly rather then on his back.
"Er. Hi." He responded to her with an awkward, goofy smile. He hadn't really... Expected to run into anyone. Or well, in this case someone run into him. Which was why he had chosen the forest as his place to relax so that on the off chance someone did find him it wasn't likely to be a reaver or a captain. He didn't really favor the idea of looking stupid in front of front of his reaver peers and the captains that he looked up to. It left a bad taste in the gray lion's mouth.
He didn't even remotely recognize the lioness in front of him so Tollak assumed she couldn't have been a reaver, which was good. But the fact that he didn't recognize her made him curious.. "I'm Tollak." He introduced himself, "Who are you?"
