Nessiaing
It wasn't often that Giada thought of her past, but now that she was actually beginning to think of settling down she decided it was time to go back and see how her two girls had turned out. She had been around for most of her first litters lives, she had tried to raise them right and make sure they had the tools to succeed in life her two girls however she had left them with their father jst about the time they were weened.
She knew the area that they had been left in but not the pride's exact location. As she moved through the lands she was stuck by the difference to how it was now. The lands that were once barren and dry where now lush and full of life. She smiled pleased that it had turned around. Hopefully this meant her girls were given a good life here after all.

Chozi yawned. His body was still weak from the drought, even as the land had healed. He had seemed to get worse and worse every day, like his very body had taken on the plague of the land.
He was thin, but not for lack of trying to eat. His body didn't seem to take on food well, most he vomitted back up, but he had managed to keep most of his food down this morning. His body was thrumming with life for the moment, though he was sure he still looked like hell.
He yawned again. He wouldn't do much today, but his muscles ached from lack of use, so he walked towards the border.
Perhaps he could spend time with the guards…

As Giada made her way closer to the pride she spotted movement. She moved in behind a rock to keep watch. She didn't want to be seen as a threat the the pride. As she watched she saw the thin body of the male she had spent time with. She moved from behind the rock once she was sure it was him. She creased her brow, he looked unhealthy, something that confused her when you considered how much better the lands looked in this area.
She moved towards him, "Chozi?" she asked as she moved towards him. Her body was rigid with muscle the cheetah despite her increasing age was in just about the best health she had ever been in and she felt great.

Chozi's dark ears flicked forward at the sound of a familiar voice. It was one of the mother's to his children, he was sure of it. He never remembered voices and names so well if they hadn't.
"Giada," he acknowledged her with a smile. It had been a long time since he had seen her. The girls were already big! Taking on jobs in the pride and everything.
"How have you been?"
Nessiaing
"I have been, well. It seems though you can not say the same." she said still eyeing the cheeton who as she got closer looked more and more frial. She swallowed hard, if he was in this condition how where ehr girls, perhaps she should never have left them in his care. She had known there was a drought but she had been assured by Chozi that they were in good hands.
"How are the girls?" she asked. She wasn't normally a overly motherly type, but she did care for her young. She hoped that Chozi had been able to teach them the skills they needed for life and if he hadn't been able to that he had found a suitable person to do so.

Chozi gave a good natured chuckle. He couldn't deny that he looked terrible, even if he was practically looking like his peak today. "I can't, no," he agreed, yawning. He would probably need a nap soon for more energy.
"The girls are doing great though! Kande and Alonya both care for the new young in the pride," though most of the children happened to be his own, so it was more like babysitting their siblings. Still, new cubs came up quickly.
Chozi smiled at Giada. "Do you want to see them?"
Nessiaing
The smile that played across her lips quickly faded.... her children were glorified babysitters? This just would not do. "Cub sitters.... they are not hunters?" she couldn't fathom any thing that came from here chosing to babysit over providing food for their pride or security for their pride. No no no this just wouldn't do.
"Yes yes, I must see them." her brain was spinning with worries now. There had to be something she could do about this. She could not possibly settle into her new life and pride knowing that she had children out there unable to truly fend for themselves.
"What are their skills?" she asked while she waiting for Chozi to show her the way to her children. She began to worry that she had made a terrible decision letting her children stay with this male. She should have known, the first time they meeted she had haunted for him.

"It's the path they chose, Giada," Chozi frowned, a bit worried now. He gave a small cough, holding the rest back. He hadn't spoken often lately, so when he did it scratched enough for him to cough.
He began walking towards where he had last remembered seeing them anyhow. "All members are trained to hunt," he told her though. It was a skill everyone needed, beyond the hunters…

Giada frowned, she did not like that they had chosen to be cubsitters, but she supposed there wasn't much she could do other than there wasn't much she could do about it. She just had to make sure that they were competent hunters.
"That is well then." Giada said swallowing hard. She knew on some level that she had lost the right to say anything about the matter when she left the cubs with Chozi... but that didn't mean that she had to be happy about it.
"Alright then Chozi lead the way. Lets see those girls of ours." she said to him with a smile.
Seaki
Chozi was glad that Giada wasn't so upset with their girls. He thought they had chosen well. It was a noble cause, especially in the pride. Many of the cubs were the result of two non-hybrids and would be taken care of the hybrid nannies.
It was just how the pride worked. Chozi's children had vastly different jobs. Giada's girls happened to be Nannies, while Adhira'i's happened to be Story Tellers. They were all different, and Chozi was proud of them.
"They should be here somewhere," he murmured.
