Honestly, when it came to making things pretty or dressing them up, Saoirse wanted all the things. Everything could stand a bit of sprucing up, so instead of just one minipet to take to the contest she was carting around an entire crate full of them.
She'd pick one when she got there, that sort of decision couldn't be rushed.
For now she was looking for a ghoul she didn't really know. It wasn't really a surprise, she didn't know most people still, so at least it would be a good chance to meet Callie and possibly forge a relationship. Alliances were better to have than not after all.
Finally she spotted someone that matched the description she'd been given and she called out, already striding toward her. Well, as much as one could stride when leaning to compensate for the large minipet crate that took both hands to manage. "Excuse me, are you Callie?"

She had to listen closely to hear the other ghoul, her voice light but clear enough. "Yes," she replied simply. She looked for a place to set her crate, and then sat on top of it gingerly, making sure her dress draped around her feet just so before turning her attention to Callie. It was delightful to see someone with multiple colors that actually coordinated, and with clothing that appeared to be taken care of. Far too many people she'd met (ie one) had felt like a single color made an outfit, and she'd seen others with dirty or tattered clothing. It was appalling, and she was pleased to see the person she'd been paired up with fit in neither of those categories.
"I brought a few minis," she confessed, feeling the crate move slightly as some of the minis jostled about. "Is that the one you've decided on? It looks absolutely precious already."
Still, she had no idea who she wanted to decorate, so Saoirse reached down, squeezed the twin handles of the latch together and allowed the door swing partially open. Then it was a matter of grabbing the first mini that tumbled out and quickly closing the door.
What ended up in her lap was her Forest Eon Elf King, it's long hair clearly needing brushed from it's encounter with a crate of other minis. "I guess I'll decorate him today," she declared cheerfully.

"A theme would be lovely!" Already her mind was whirring into action as she looked about for the box of supplies for costumes, sorting through some of the things. Taking charge wasn't a big deal to her, and unless there was a major protest she'd just charge on until stopped. "How do you feel about something gothic? Not punk or anything as ridiculous as that, but more Victorian? Thran here has all of this hair and it'd be a shame to let it go to waste, so I could do a little twist or something."
She had gathered a few bits of fabric and safety pins by that point, and a stretch of lace, eyes gleaming as she started putting stuff into place, somehow managing to keep the minipet on her lap as she did so. Soon enough it had a sort of dress on (and no, he did not seem happy about it) that was a nice purple, not too dark, and with a swath of black lace covering it to give an extra layer. To make sure it was all in place and no pins were to be seen there was a nice wide black ribbon in a large bow on his back.
His hair she was had combed out and was now working to twist it up, a hat set to the side to pin into place when she was done. Finally her minipet was styled to perfection and she looked up to see how Callie and Little Sir had fared.
