[Job Class Test] Sage It Ain't So (Falair)

You are are brought to the labyrinth of no return. Your goal is to grab the hidden treasures inside the labyrinth while avoiding traps and reach the end. Collect at LEAST 3 out of the 5 hidden treasures. BEWARE. This test is VERY difficult.

HP:If your HP reaches zero it is GAME OVER.
THE MAP: Your horsemen starts at tile 1 (make a mental tally this is their starting zone in the event. Their goal is to reach the exit at tile 50.

- Roll 1d10. Add the amount you rolled to your total tile number until you hit tile 50 or over. Match your dice roll to the events below.
Rolling 1-2: An obstacle falls on you! You lose -5 HP!
Rolling 3-4: Traps fall from the bottom and nearly impale you! You lose - 10 HP!
Rolling 5: You find a hidden treasure!
Rolling a 6: A giant axe lands and neatly beheads you! You dissipate. You have to start all over again.
Rolling 7: Nothing happens
Rolling 8: You find a hidden treasure!
Rolling 9: Nothing happens
Rolling 10: You find a hidden treasure!

GOAL: Roll 1d10 and add your rolls until they are greater than 50. In addition, have at least 3 treasures collected.
UPON COMPLETION: You have done it! Your horseman gains the SAGE PASSIVE ABILITY:

Sage passive ability: Sages can camouflage themselves, hiding even in plain sight. This allows them to listen to any conversation at close range. HOWEVER, if the level of the horsemen or opponent is higher than the sage's, then the sage will be caught and/or heard! If their level is the SAME, the opponent should roll 1d6 each time they say anything. If they roll even, they spot the hidden sage!
- In battle, they can halve the damage of any NON FEAR/CHARGE ATTACK MOVE

So this was it. The test that she had been working for to become a full fledged Sage. This new job class was not one that she had considered before everything was thrown into disarray with the clans, but now that she had returned to the Tower at Na'ima's request it was time she settled into a more permanent role in society.

Also the not so subtle nudging that Na gave her to attempt being a Sage instead of an Alchemist. While Falair would not forget what she learned as an Alchemist and probably still dabble a bit here and there, her focus would be elsewhere in another field.

Beast taming.

It was what mother did and had been famous for. Falair wanted to honor her in one of the best ways she knew she could by following in her foot steps and forging her own path as a beast tamer.

Of course, she was slightly nervous. Only those with great ego wouldn't be she assured herself. This was a big deal after all. She could feel the gaze of others who had gathered to watch. If she didn't pass the first time it would be fine. She could take the test several times so she wasn't too worried.

Stepping onto the first large tile of the labyrinth, so far so good. The Famine horsewoman made her way a bit cautiously forward until traps came up from the floor, nearly impaling her where she stood. It was a close call but a stinging sensation along her skin let her know that this test was serious.

Drawing in a long breath, she scurried forward through the labyrinth once more. But it wasn't long till more traps sprung up, nearly impaling her once more. Falair got caught up on one of the spikes again which left a long gash along her arm.

Grabbing her arm, she quickly pulled out a small bottle from one of her pouches. Applying a light salve to the wound to take the sting out and keep it from bleeding too heavily.

Looks like the salve was kind of pointless as a giant axe came down and off went her head. Falair dissipated instantly. Head and all.

Time to start again. Falair found herself whole at the entrance to the labrynth. More determined now. As she entered she hadn't gotten very far when something feel from above landing on top of her. It wasn't anything large but it was enough to startle her and leave a bruise.

She leaned against the wall for a moment when all of a sudden her hand sunk into it. Falair jumped back slightly startled thinking she might get sucked into some weird wall trap. Upon further inspection the tile had merely moved aside revealing what looked to be one of the hidden treasures she was suppose to find.

Well there's one down.

Falair was feeling pretty good that she had at least found one of the treasures that she was taken by surprise by the spike trap again. Nearly walking straight into one of the spikes. That would have seriously hurt if she hadn't stopped just short of it piercing her chest.

Of course to add insult to injury something fell on her again.

Ok, objects falling on her. Spikes nearly impaling her. This test seemed to be quite the adventure. But for the moment nothing happened as she continued on through the labyrinth.

Now she was starting to get just a little paranoid that nothing continued to be happening. Someone was trying to play head games with her. Falair could just imagine some bony Famine clansman sitting beneath the labyrinth pulling levers and handles at inappropriate times just to trip her up.

Well, something did happen after a while. Falair found another treasure just sitting there on a pedestal. Quite unassuming. It had to be another trap but when she picked it up nothing happened.

Just as she was about to move out again a giant axe came down and took off her head again. Her lips mouthed a silent nooooooo as she quickly dissipated.

This time she wasn't going to be so timid going into the labryinth. As soon as she was returned to the beginning she marched her way inside. Spike traps catching her again.

And then a large pot fell on her head, leaving her a bit dazed and confused. This was starting to get ridiculous. Who was throwing pots at her?
