All cubs belong to Intaba'umbikezeli. Please please please read up on the pride, when I am talking about the "sight" and "visions" know that these are not true seers, its a disease that effects anyone in the pride who has original blood, that being said if you cub doesn't have visions their cubs possibly could If you have any questions please ask them rather than assuming.


~The Rules~

1. The cubs MUST stay in Intaba. We are fairly resonable so if something does come up, like an amazing plot, please speak to us and we will see if there can be a work around.

2. Make sure you read up on the pride, its a little different than a lot. If you have question ask us we are more than happy to help.

3. You can enter for as many cubs as you want but only win one.

4. Please follow all Gaia ToS and SoA shop rules

5. Be nice, no drama here, and no discouraging others from entering.

6. In the event that Greenie and I feel that none of the entries for the cub(s) we reserve the right to choose none of the entries, and find another way to home the cub(s).

~The Family~

Mom: Sabia'Nafsi (owned by Greenie EA): The irony in her name comes from her cousin – a polar opposite – or at least was a polar opposite. Growing up Sabia was quiet, to herself and hated change. Grown, she has become adaptable, able to defend herself and perhaps has become a bit cold. These cubs will be her world. The only ones to be given any form of side glances will be those marked with the batwings. To her they are a sore reminder of her cousins and Uncle. They will no be treated any less, in fact she may keep a closer eye on them. This is the reason behind the name Muhuri`Hatma for the little batwing girl, in Sabias eye’s the youngster has a sealed fate, something uncontrollable. Think of it like an omen.



Dad: Hoaka (owned by nessiaing): Hoaka has a great deal of pride for his home. He protects it with gusto. He is not of original blood and there for he never had a chance of having a child with the sight naturally. However only shortly after joining the pride he met and fell in love with Sabia, the daughter of one of the leaders. Sabia helped Hoaka raise his first litter, he was a single dad when they first met. As time went on their bond grew. However tragedy stuck when an avalanche hit the pride. Some where buried alive but most were just scattered away from the lands they called home. Hoaka thought he had lost Sabia forever. He spent a lot of time on his own roaming the rogue lands sad for himself and missing his mate. Hoaka joined a pride and to his surprised found his beloved there, she had been badly injured by an attack and he worked to heal her wounds. Not long after that they heard that their old home was rebuilding so they left their current pride and headed back to the place they had first met.



The Oldest: Röte (owned by nessaing): Röte is your typical male. He wants to be just like his father. Since his dad is the war general and his mother the offensive commander. He wants to become a warrior and rise up through the ranks to be just like his dad.



Second Oldest: Villám (owned by Polette): The strong and protective type.



Youngest Girl: Muhuri`Hatma (owned by Greenie)




Great Grandpa: Joto (owned by hibi) Joto is somewhat crotchety and grumpy older lion, who is very much stuck in the old ways of the pride. White is good, seeing males are bad.

~The Twins~




These girls are a partner entry! If you don't have someone that you can partner with you may enter as a single but you must give one cub away, and specify which one you are keep in your entry.

Some facts about these girls. They are the third (white and blue) and fourth (pink) cubs born in the litter. Making them the oldest girls in the litter. Both have inherited the gene that causes them to have "visions" something seen as a blessing in the pride for female to have. The pink girl has stronger visions of the two with a strength of 8 out of 10, where as the white cub only has a strength of 6 out of 10. This goes against the pride believes that white coats and visions are both blessings from the gods.

Now what you need to do to win is feel out the following for, answering the questions about the cubs as you go. This can be done as a mini rp with a partner or you can straight up answer the questions. Just know if you choose the rp route even if you win these girls it will not count as an rp. Also take extra care to make sure that you touched on all the areas.

In the pride it is believed that you are blessed if you have a white coat, it is also believed that if a female has the sight the gods have blessed you. It would stand to reason that those with paler coats should also have stronger visions. In the case of these two though, the stronger visions belong to the cub with VERY little white.

~The Boy Who Could See



What we Know: This boy is the 5th born in the litter, and 3rd male. He has the "sight". Within the pride it is not viewed as a good thing when males have the sight. His vision strength is very weak however only a 3 out of 10.

What you need to do is answer the following. It's well known in the pride that males can't handle their visions. There is talk that there are a number of other males in the pride who have the sight but you don't know who they are. How do you handle your first vision? Does it scare you or did you always kind of know that you were "blessed." You know your great-grandfather is VERY against male seers. Do you try to build a relationship with him or do you hide and avoid him every chance you get? Do you tell any one in your family that you have the sight?

~The Left Out Girl~



What we know: She is the sixth cub born in the litter. She is the ONLY female in the litter not to have been blessed with the sight, she is also the darkest coloured female.

What you need to do is tell me how she feels about being the only female cub not to have the "sight". Does she blame her father for his dark pelt? Does she not care at all? Is she sad that certain ranks in the pride wont be open to her because she doesn't have visions?

~The Lost Boy~

What we know: This boy is the youngest in the litter. He does not have any visions, not from the pride disease anyway he might be be rolled a legit seer. This boy was also a custom for the month of January when the ORP starts you can only try to win him if you did not use your custom slot for the month of January

Name of Cub: Mphatso
Meaning of Name: Gift
Future Rank: I want to see how he developes, but for right now Umzingeli.
Personality: He tries to keep to himself, and is withdrawn more and more from his family/other lions in general. He wouldn't admit to it if someone asked him about it though, just say he's been 'busy'.
Prompt Response: He loves his family very much, but knows that even if they accepted him, he'd be putting them in danger of being rediculed if he told anyone the truth, so he keeps to himself about it.

I'm sorry, but I am an absolute sucker for Intaba boys with the sight -fluffs Tajan- and I can't just not try for this lil cutie. Hopefully I can get an entry up some time for the girl, too. <3

Side note on the entry: Dhun "seeing his vision come true" is totally real, but think of his vision as, like... seeing two particular cubs together by a watering hole. Something likely to happen anyway, but just "coincidental" enough that it jolts Dhun into the reality of him having the pride's disease. I know he can't actually see, but Dhun's a little slow and his first vision would have to come true for him to realize that he's a "seer" and not just daydreaming/making stuff up in his mind. xD If that doesn't make sense, I can attempt to explain it another way? I just want you to know that I know that he can't actually see. xD

~The Boy Can See~
Name of Cub: Dhundhala
Meaning of Name: 'Dim' - Nepali
Future Rank: Ibutho
Personality: Dhun means well. He really does! He just doesn't always know how to communicate that. A sweet little cub, Dhundhala is simply a bit awkward and slow sometimes. But that never does anything to get him down - he's still a positive little ball of sunshine. He adores his family and as he grows will find he has quite the amount of tact with his paws - thus, his desire to protect the pride and aptitude to grow into a role as an Ibutho.
Prompt Response:

A large yawn escaped Dhundhala's mouth as he stretched out across a fallen tree. The log hadn't been fallen long - it was still free of snow and quite sturdy - and thus the perfect place to settle down for a quick nap.

However, it didn't seem that nap would come easy. It wasn't often that Dhun's mind was full of thoughts, but today it was. There were these strange questions floating about, nagging him. So, for once, he decided to address them. Mentally, of course.

A few days ago, the cub had a dream. Only, this dream happened while he was awake. It was something simple and uneventful, he could barely remember it now (his memory was poor; it wasn't all that surprising). But what he did remember was the shock of that day dream coming true the next day. Now, this wouldn't normally be all that big of a deal. But in the Intaba, it was. Dhun was a little dim-witted sometimes, but the pride's outward hatred and fear of male seers was everywhere - even he couldn't ignore it (but perhaps that was his great-grandfather's fault). So when he had this first vision, well, Dhun was at first, confused. The poor cub was confused by pretty much everything. But slowly, it dawned on him. He'd had a vision. And that was troubling.

Well, not that troubling. Since then, there had been nothing. And Dhun had an easy time ignoring the first vision just fine. It was a little shocking, sure - he'd had no clue that he was special. Honestly, he felt just like everybody else. Maybe even a little less than everybody else, just because he held all those around him up on a pedestal. But that being said, he certainly wouldn't have expected himself to be a seer.

Lying on the log, Dhun shifted into a more comfortable position. Thinking about the fact that he was probably a seer brought up the issue of his great-grandfather. The small cub pursed his lips a bit at the thought, then let them settle into a smile. Great Grandpa wouldn't be an issue, he decided almost immediately. He wouldn't avoid him or anything, but he would play dumb. Everyone thought he was dumb anyway (for good reason, but he decided to ignore that). With how easily he was able to pass over the first vision, he was certain any more would be simple to ignore. So he'd continue to ignore it. When his great-grandfather complained, Dhun would agree - mimicking the old lion's stern looks and all.

But what about the rest of his family? At this thought, Dhun frowned a bit. He didn't like the idea of lying to his family. But he couldn't outright tell them - he might get in trouble then. Suddenly, a lightbulb went off in his head. He could pretend! The cub was excellent at pretending to be things. Sometimes he pretended to be a bird, soaring through the trees, and sometimes he pretended to be a fish, flopping about in the water. He was a great pretender. He could easily pretend to be normal! And pretending was different than lying, right? Dhundhala grinned at that, feeling settled.

It was then that all of the questions in his mind felt like they were fading out, slipping away. Which made it all the easier for the cub to find a more comfortable position and rather quickly drift off to sleep.

~Whats Wrong With Me?

Cubs Name: Al'aniq
Name Meaning: Elegant (Arabic)
Future Rank: Mchunguzi or Iqili
Personality: Al is a little slow in some mental capabilities. She does not understand a lot of cultural concepts. She is a very simple creature and complex ideas do not sink in. Al has problems understanding why others get upset about most things. She sees the world a bit differently, but can understand enough to get along in it. It often takes her longer to learn things than others, but when it comes to a sense of direction, she's got about the best. She is a hard worker, putting everything she has into physical activities, and she is very friendly. She tends to do well meeting others so long as they don't want to discuss complicated matters. She can memorize things even if she doesn't understand them, and thus can appear fairly smart even if she isn't.
Prompt Response: Al'aniq could not puzzle out why everyone was talking about visions and her pelt being too dark. Was there something wrong with her? She didn't think so. She was just different, right? There was a lot the cub just did not understand. Her father was as dark as she, so that must not be all that bad, and whatever a vision was, it sounded scary. All she really understood was that she was told she couldn't do certain things and that was okay. She would focus on the things she could do and not think too hard on the ones she couldn't.

~The Boy Can See~
Name of Cub: Àn'yì
Meaning of Name: 'Dark wing' (Chinese) [I couldn't find any naming rules. If chinese is not appropriate I have several other options]
Future Rank: Scout
Personality: A quiet cub, in part due to lack of sleep as well as a generally calmer temperament, Àn'yì hides his knowledge of his dangerous ability behind wary eyes. Content to let Röte and Villám share the limelight, Àn'yì is taciturn and reserved, often mistook for possessing a temper similar to his great-grandfather's. When in actuality he is simply too nervous to allow anyone close to him in case his secret is found out and he is forced to leave the pride. Ironically as he grows he decides that taking the role of Scout would be his best option, as he can spend time away from the pride where he wouldn't have to guard against his visions constantly, and he would be able to sleep without fear of discovery. While away from the pride he would be free to use his seer ability in order to gain further information that he can then take back to the pride as per his actual rank. Though he will never tell them where this extra information comes from.
Prompt Response: Àn'yì has known for a while that he was a seer and lives in fear of being discovered. He has heard that there are male seers who have hidden themselves within the pride and he aims to emulate them, never planning to tell anyone, even his parents, that he has the dreaded seer ability. After discovering he was in fact afflicted with the visions, he felt betrayed by his coat colour, having previously assumed that his really dark fur would protect him from the curse of the seer gift. His first vision came when he was tiny, and he mistook it for a nightmare, waking from it crying and calling for Sabia. Since then he has learned the difference between nightmares and visions and generally tries to hide both from his family, though he lives in fear of receiving a vision that he can't hide. Ths makes him wary and he tends to try and avoid falling asleep until the rest of the family have bedded down for the night, and he always wakes up before everyone else, too paranoid of what he may say in his dreams to sleep restfully, or well. As a result he is not as energetic as his siblings and will often sneak off during the day to nap somewhere where he feels safer. Àn'yì generally tries to stay out of his great-grandfather's line of sight. Though he is careful to visit the old lion enough that it isn't obvious that he is in fact avoiding Joto.

Name and Meaning of Pink Cub: Ramala (Predictor of the future - african)
Name of Pink Cub Owner: ~Twilight...Angel~
Future Rank for Pink Cub: Umbikezeli
Personality of Pink Cub: Sweet like sugar and gentle as a lamb, Ramala is a darling girl who adores her pride, considering all of them as family. As one in the same with her sister, she takes herself just as seriously as her sister does. Feeling that their roles in the pride are far too important to be taken lightly. This can lead to her being a bit strict at times, wanting to keep everything in order and going along smoothly. But that doesn't mean she can't have a sense of humor. Though she is the more powerful seer, she likes to ask her sisters opinion on things that seem far too important for one half of a lion to take into consideration. Ramala also makes sure that her sister doesn't push herself too hard, making sure that she helps her sister with everything she wants to do. After all, two halves a whole should probably do things together.

Name and Meaning of Blue Cub: Kamara (Moon in african)
Name of Blue Cub Owner: Tanakako
Future Rank for Blue Cub: Umbikezeli
Personality of Blue Cub: Calm and composed, Kamara is a gentle-hearted female with a deep love for her family and her pride. She takes her role within the pride seriously, considering them all to be her family. She believes that as a Umbikezeli, she and her sister, along with the rest of the Umbikezeli, are responsible for the spiritual and mental well being of the pride. And she will do all within her power to aid each and every member within their homeland, often to the extent of ignoring her own health in favour of helping others.

The Questions:
In the pride it is believed that you are blessed if you have a white coat, it is also believed that if a female has the sight the gods have blessed you. It would stand to reason that those with paler coats should also have stronger visions. In the case of these two though, the stronger visions belong to the cub with VERY little white.
How do each of the cubs feel like this?:
As the two sisters are so close they consider each other one half of the whole. So to them it makes complete sense that one is white and one is a powerful seer. They believe that had they only been one lioness, they would have been far too powerful and unable to cope with the strength of their ability. So the Goddess made them into two separate bodies, each blessed with a single aspect of their belief.
Does the paler twin feel ripped off, like she should have been the one to have strong visions?:
Far from feeling disappointed, the White sister is content and very happy with her less powerful seer power.
Or do they just see each other as an extension of themselves?:
Since they believe that they are in fact each one half of a single entity, they think and act as one.
Does the pink cub feel like she isn't as good as the pale cub even though her visions are stronger, as if the gods don't love her as much?:
The pink cub has no such feelings against her sister. Since they believe they are one in the same, there is no need to be jealous of her sister's pale coat. She is happy that her sister and herself were split into two, sharing the aspects of their beliefs.
What other conflicts come up between the two?:
It is incredibly rare that either female disagrees with their sister, so close are they. Though of course they hold different opinions they most often discuss things between themselves before coming to a conclusion which is shared by both. In this way they resolve most conflicts before they even arise.

Personality of Pink Cub: Shy and modest, Nyogtha will be soft spoken, and meek in nature from the guilt of her gift.

Name and Meaning of Blue Cub: Deka - The pleasing one
Name of Blue Cub Owner: Chisato Mikami
Future Rank for Blue Cub: Umbikezeli
Personality of Blue Cub: Most of the time she's cheerful, but because of expectations on her, she can be insecure.


The Questions:
In the pride it is believed that you are blessed if you have a white coat, it is also believed that if a female has the sight the gods have blessed you. It would stand to reason that those with paler coats should also have stronger visions. In the case of these two though, the stronger visions belong to the cub with VERY little white.
How do each of the cubs feel like this?:

Deka loves her sister. She's proud of her and for what she can do.
Nyogtha believes there is a mistake and that the gods must have given her the gift stronger by accident. Since they're so much alike. She'd much rather her pale sister to be the one that she is suppose to be. For this she feels guilty and unsure what to do about the situation.

Does the paler twin feel ripped off, like she should have been the one to have strong visions?:
In a way Deka does. Everyone has high expectations of her because of her mostly white coat and with her visions not as strong as her sister's, she feels like she's letting her pride down in some way, but she doesn't tell anyone and keeps it to herself..

Or do they just see each other as an extension of themselves?:
Deka could see it like this. They're twins after all and she loves her sister very much.
Nyogtha sees Deka as her support and leans on her sister for everything. She is her second half, and together they are whole.

Does the pink cub feel like she isn't as good as the pale cub even though her visions are stronger, as if the gods don't love her as much?:

Very much so, Nyogtha believes that her give wasn't meant for her. She believes her twin and her must have been mistaken before birth when the gifts were given to them. Because of that, she half believes she accidentally stole the stronger gift and is guilty about it. Nyogtha looks up to Deka, and is deeply concerned with her sister's thoughts. This makes them inseparable.

What other conflicts come up between the two?:
Who hunts better, which one is stronger. Maybe boys when they're older.

Inner Conflicts with Nyogtha insisting that her sister is actually a better seer, and holding back a bit of her ability to help her sister shine a bit more. Normal Sibling rivalries, but they'd be pretty minor and they'd end up laughing about it in the end. They might butt heads because Nyogtha's persistence in Deka being better. But other then that, there wouldn't be much conflict between the two, Nyogtha would be the one hiding behind her sister, or looking to her in hopes she had a better answer or adding to what Nyogtha already knew.

Personality: Cheerful and Happy.
Prompt Response: Ayana is quite happy with how she is. She doesn’t much mind that she doesn’t have visions and she doesn’t blame her father in the least. She loves her family and supports them in everything they do or sees. She hopes that one day she’ll have cubs that will be blessed by the Gods.

Meaning of Name: Celtic for Wise

Personality: He’s a bit stand-offish.
Prompt Response: He knows having visions is a bad thing and most likely keep it to himself. He would most likely try to act as normal around other lions as much as possible. He doesn’t want to shame his family with his gift. He never tells anyone about the visions, not even his family.
