Chuntao slowly stepped out of the caves to peek outside. She could tell that warmer months were soon upon them, the snow fall was slowly becoming less and less. Blizzard season was unheard of around this time, and days were becoming longer and longer. For some, this was their first big winter, and she could tell who those were without looking at new faces. She could see them huddled, not use to the cold. Soon they would be, they'd find furs from their kills to help keep them warm. Much like her and Rel did.
With him in thoughts, she peeked down at Relnaartum to make sure he was beside her. He was a silent creature, but they didn't need words to communicate. Sure, she couldn't know everything he was thinking, but she knew enough that they didn't need words. Well, she did. He didn't. "Time to go for a small adventure, Rel!" She said with a smile. She had stayed in a lot of the winter, she didn't like wondering out at night in storms, but now that light stayed about a bit longer, it was acceptable. She wouldn't get as lost this way. Relnaartum nodded, even if she turned away from him, he still did. He didn't need to speak, though if he did he always spoke up carefully. He only said what he needed and nothing more. He had his own fur coat that kept him warm, he wasn't really one who liked the cold, though he had always been in these snowy lands as long as he could remember. He thought about leaving once, then he became bonded with Chuntao. His only reason for staying now. He didn't care much for anyone else. At least, they never gave him a reason to. Some hares tried to get him to talk, sure, but he always ignored them.

Rae was skipping his feet about, trying to be as sly as he could be. He though he was such a lady killer, yet he'd never actually wooed any female yet. It was hard work, being as awesome as he was. He tried so hard to impress them, but it always failed. Perhaps he was doing something wrong, of course he had gotten in trouble a few times with his mouth to where Naarro had to help him. That little guy was his life saver. Though he always was rude to Rae. Always telling him how retarded he was. It was a true friendship.
He knew that Naarro wouldn't trade him for anyone else, I mean how could he! If he left Rae, he'd get himself into more trouble than he did already. Rae couldn't help that, it was just the way he was. He couldn't stop himself from saying things he knew wasn't suppose to be said. It was like he had no filter.
In the distance, Rae noticed Chuntao. He knew her right off the bat. It wasn't the first time he had mingled with her, though he knew her hearts were set on another lion. She was more like his sister anyways. A big sister. "Hey Chuntao, Relnaartum" He said as he got closer to them. He'd join them on their walk, even if he wasn't invited. Though Chuntao never did mind spending time with him.Naarro was actually glad they ran into these two today. There was little trouble that Rae could get himself into. He felt a breeze of relief go over him as he hopped up on Rae's back. "Hello Chuntao, How are you?" he asked with a smile. Naarro was the conscience Rae lacked. He tried to keep him out of trouble and Rae almost got himself really hurt from Sachin one time.
"Hope things are going well" He added as they started move with the two. He didn't bother to talk to Relnaartum, he knew already the words wouldn't come out of his mouth unless he was forced to say something. Not many had heard his voice, Naarro wasn't one who had. He didn't care to either.

"Rae'lilongass'ame!" She said with a sweet chime. It wasn't every day she saw him. She looked after him from time to time. That boy didn't know when to keep himself out of trouble. Though she hadn't heard much since he got Naarro by his side. She turned her attention to Naarro. "I'm doing fine, Naarro, How are you two?" She was one of the only lions who didn't mind their presence. Of course, that was probably because Rae didn't flirt with her like the other lionesses.
Which she was thankful for. She wasn't good at handling flirts, and he was more like a brother to her, and she knew he saw her as a sister. He had once told her she reminded him of one of his siblings. "You should join us!" She added as they seemed to follow Her and Relnaartum anyways.
Rel was hoping she wouldn't ask that, but it could be less pleasant. At least Naarro didn't try to talk to him. He was one of the few that Rel could actually tolerate. He hopped behind Chuntao in silence, listening to what everyone had to say. Things were going well, he nodded along with Chuntao's words. Just incase someone was looking at him. Even though he didn't speak much, his actions said more than enough. If he had not nodded, they might not have believed she was telling the truth.
It wasn't like Chuntao to lie, however. She always wore her heart on her paws for everyone to see. She was a easy going lioness, and didn't believe in lying or holding truths behind. She was a kind lioness.

"That is good to hear." Rae said with a smile. "It's good to see you too, Chuntao." He laughed at her excitement. It was a good feeling to have someone actually want to see you. He really needed to work on that. Naarro would help him, even if he didn't like to. "We were just about to walk around, so don't mind if we accompany you." It was a relief that he had found her today, and he knew that Naarro was pleased too. He was actually smiling!
"So what brings you out today?" He asked trying to keep a conversation going. He wasn't good at those really, but he needed to try. Either he was angry and just blurted out rude things, or he was trying to flirt and saying things that most lionesses would smack his muzzle for. Silly creatures, there was no pleasing them!
Naarro nodded, "We're doing well, yes." He said, but it wasn't fully true. It was hard work keeping this knuckle head out of trouble, but he was doing a good job of it. He noticed changes from Rae even if the lion didn't notice them himself. He was slowly getting better, and soon it whouldn't have to rely on Naarro to save him from sticky situations.
That thought almost made him sad. He did enjoy calling him rude things infront of others and telling him that he wasn't very smart, he probably will continue that from time to time. But it wasn't like Naarro was gonna leave his side after helping him become less of a douche bag. He was with this lion for the long hall. "If it pleases you, we will join"

"I'm happy to see you too, Rae'lilongass'ame" She had always used his full name, as strange as it was. "We were about to do some adventuring now that the sun lasts a bit longer, no need to worry about getting lost" She giggled. She had gotten lost lots of times when she first came to the lands, many times had she needed help getting back to the caves. After that, she decided that it was time not to go out at night. Relnaartum agreed. He was the one that had to guide her back, and that was less fun that he would admit to anyone.
"Today, we are out to enjoy the sites, and get some exercise." She needed to stretch her paws, and so did Rel she was sure. "Just gotta stretch and enjoy the soft falling snow!" It was more beautiful than she could ever imagine. Sometimes she thought she lived in a fairy tale, or perhaps this was all a dream she never wanted to wake up from. Either way, she thought she might not actually be in a place like this.
Relnaartum hopped to Chuntao's back. It was easier than walking next to her letting his paws get frozen. Might as well try to stay warm and look into the snow filled lands. Of course, he wasn't really that cold, but furs could only do so much for one so small as him. He listened to everyone's voices, though he longed for some quiet. he should have stayed inside today, though he hated Chuntao leaving the caves without him. He never let her go anywhere outside without him.
What if she got lost? It'd be his fault then. He couldn't allow that. He looked back towards the blue lion and his matching hare. Strange how those two matched, and he matched Chuntao. though he heard roamers it was works of a goddess a gift to the lions that lived here. Was something most everyone believed, he wasn't sure what to believe, however.

"Leg Stretching is a wonderful idea" though nothing really kept Rae and Naarro inside for too long. Only a bad blizzard kept them from wondering about the frozen land. He was one of the more better food gatherers of the pride. Him and Rashida tended to get the most back for the pride. Naarro hated it, but what can one do. He grinned at her as he listened to her. "Well I am glad everything is going well, the day is quite beautiful for a small adventure." He had to admit that.
He wasn't surprised that she didn't like going out at night, not many lions did. it was dangerous, and things could happen when you least expected it. It was okay though, it wasn't like anything super bad had happened in a while. Though he didn't want to jinx it by thinking something like that. He smiled at the lioness. "We can't stay too long, but I couldn't pass up a moment to spend with you" he said to her. He did like the small meetings they did from time to time. He could tell her anything, he felt. He would walk with her til they reached the spot she had in mind, then he'd have to go back to doing his work. But he figured he'd escort her a little bit.
Naarro kind of dreaded leaving, he knew that either Rae would have to work, or they'd run into someone he'd have to apologize for Rae. No matter, he at least could say things that'd make him feel better. He smiled at both Relnaartum and Chuntao. "We will bump into you two again, though" He said with a sure smile. This time he included the silent wonder. It was only the nice thing to do, to acknowledge he existed. It was the least he could do since he didn't speak of or two the hare before. Who was now ontop of the lioness looking at them. Strange creature, that one.
OF course that was his choice. He didn't HAVE to stay with the lion, it was just something he felt he should Rae had not object to it when he first met the hare, mostly because he saved him from getting beaten up by Sachin. Everyone knew how bad a** that lion was. Of course, Rae was the one that got himself in to a sticky situation, and he had no way out of it til Naarro had decided to come help.
He gave no notice of his thoughts, however. He didn't want to see like the jerk like Rae was. He was the one that was suppose to be inconsiderate, not Naarro. Naarro Worked hard to keep himself from seeming rude to anyone, he felt it was the right thing to do, always be a gentleman, and apologize for the big oof that he was stuck with.

Chuntao nodded "I understand." She said with a smile. "Gotta keep the pride fed!" She smiled. She knew that he was good at his job, perhaps better than most at their jobs. She was fairly good at her own. She watched the King and Queen's kids when they are busy. They recently had 4 bouncy cubs, such little darlings, she would admit. Busy she was, but not today. They decided to stay in with their cubs. It was okay with her, she needed a break from time to time. Even if she did love watching cubs, she couldn't always be around them. It was stressful after a while. Every lioness knew that that had their own, or watched cubs.
"We're almost there" She told them as the moved against the light breeze. Snow fell and landed on them, but melted soon after. "It's always nice to have company, don't be shy and come visit more often" She insisted as she looked at the two. What a strange pair they were, though she couldn't talk much. Rel and her weren't very far from strange either.
Relnaartum was counting down the minutes til they would leave. He couldn't help it, the silence was what he wanted, His head was pounding from a headache, all the talking drove him crazy sometimes. That and having to listen to cubs scream, giggle, and play. Sometimes it was too much for him. He didn't join her often when she went to do her job. He'd stay in their little den of peace. Unless she took them outside, then he joined to make sure nothing bad happened,
As they reached the area they were intending, a smile came to his face. Finally! everything would be great soon. He could sit back and enjoy every bit of the day like he intended. They spoke their good byes, and he watched the pair wonder off into the distance. It didn't take as long as he had expected. "Until next time" He said after they had been long out of hearing range. It was just him and Chuntao now.
