Nishati was thankful for the still brisk air of early spring; by deciding against choosing a specific rank upon adulthood, the pale-spotted leopardess had effectively chosen to be the assistant to most - as well a huntress. She would never complain - working hard and helping others brought her joy - but she was relieved not to be toiling in the heat. Come summer, that would be the case. Nisha occasionally entertained the idea of adopting an actual rank, but for now she was content in her place.
She had already helped one of the crafters set up a small stand, and had made a mental note to return after seeing some of her wares, and was now hauling in a fair sized gazelle. After dropping the animal onto the startings of a pile, she settled back onto her haunches, panting, for a short break. Looking around, Nisha's heart swelled to see her pride arranging to celebrate the season of her clan.
When she had caught her breath, Nisha rose to her paws and padded back toward the carnival set-up, making sure to grab some foliage on the way to decorate. She was sure there would be more pridemates to lend a paw to.

The gingerbread coloured made his way through the pride. It was only midday and already he was exhausted. He was thankful for the crisp weather though. His preferred season was fall but he enjoyed the fact that spring was similar in temperature to fall and he was able to work more comfortably. Already he had set up a number of games in the carnival area. It was his favourite thing to do. Setting up for the festivities for the rest of the pride to enjoy and play.
Now Eisan was on the hunt for some food. He had worked through any sort of breakfast and now he was distracted by the noise of his belly telling him he was hungry. Making his way to where food was store Eisan nodded greetings to the various pride mates he saw along his way. He wasn't exceptionally close to anyone but he also had no problems with anyone either.

While walking toward the carnival grounds, Nisha was passed by an ochre colored male with white stripes. She recognized him as a member of the Vuli Clan and an Entertainer, but she didn't know his name. Nonetheless, she did a double take as he passed and watched as he picked out a meal. With a branch in her mouth, she could hardly say anything, so she continued to keep an eye on the male as she set down and arranged the foliage in an attractive way.
Once she was finished "sprucing", she looked up with a smile and started to head toward the Vuli male. Unfortunately, she was waylaid by a fortune-teller in need of a specific stone that seemed to be missing. With a glance back at the semi-stranger, she agreed to help locate the stone. When they had finally found the special stone - a pretty green thing that was hiding in plain sight in the grass - Nisha looked up to find that the autumn boy was gone.
Begrudgingly, she went about her tasks, making sure to keep her eyes out for a certain ginger pelt. She wasn't overly sure why, but she really wanted to meet this male. At the very least, after the carnival was set up and going and she no longer had as many responsibilities, she would be free to roam and search.

Eisan noticed the female leopard as she went about her work. At one point he had thought she was going to come and speak to him, a thought that actually put a smile on his face for a reason he didn't quite understand. Unfortunately she never made it over to him instead being pulled to other tasks by pride members.
Eisan did his best just to enjoy his meal before him. Once his belly was full Eisan got up and went to set himself on the task of finding the female that had caught his eye earlier. She had seemed like she might need him for something and Eisan was eager to help her if she needed it. Spotting her not to far in the distance he picked up his pace heading for her.

Being continuously pulled away by entertainers and merchants needing assistance, Nisha wasn't surprised that she had lost sight of the Vuli male. Disappointed, but not surprised. The pale leopard tried to maintain her usual enthusiasm as she helped her pride mates but some noticed her subdued attitude and tried to perk her up.
None of their attempts really made a difference - though she tried her best to fake it - but she lit up as soon as her eyes landed on the ginger male again. Especially since he was heading right toward her! Nervously, she tried to pretend she was much busier than she was trying to weave some flowers through the bushes that marked the boundaries of one merchant's stand.
nessaing I'm so sorry for the late response! I totally forgot about this, and don't recall getting a notification, but I was too busy to check! I hope we can still keep this going.
