TROUBLE
Behind the counter Lizbeth is smiles, and all confidence. She knows the answers to almost everything going on inside her shop and if she doesn’t have something she either has something like it, or she’ll do her best to order what you’re searching for at a reasonable price. Away from work away from the counter though, she’s quiet and apologetic, anxiety rules her life and honestly even depression. This can make her hard to understand, especially if you met her one way and then ran into her another. It;s not that she’s bipolar, it’s just that the counter is her shield.
ANYTHING ELSE?
Lisbeth has a number of ways that she copes with life. Probably the most obvious being her hair. It’s seldom the same color from month to month, sometimes it won’t last two weeks before its some new mix. In her most ambitious moments she’ll appear with a full rainbow of colors, and in fact she prefers this, though it’s very hard to do given she does her own hair colors.
This does mean that she has to get her hair ‘treated’ rather frequently to try and undo some of the damage of frequent coloring, but thankfully her natural hair color is a nearly white blond.
Her eyesight is awful, she’ll always need her glasses if she wants to see anything that isn’t a hands breadth from her face, but that certainly doesn’t stop her from enjoying decorating her own confections.
If you stop by her candy store you are guaranteed to see a full window display of her candied, and chocolate coated apples in various mixtures including caramels, white, milk and dark chocolates, marshmallows, assorted nuts, and even freeze-dried fruit to mix with the underlying apple flavor.
Inside she mixes both confections bought from select other retailers, to sweets of her own making in a cooled case of their own. Her wall of jellybeans, and Gummy candies would do Willy Wonka Proud.
Her specialty chocolate - the one that inspired her to make her own shop is her Dark chocolate treats, filled with honey and a dash of cinnamon. The little round treats are easy to pop into your mouth and enjoy!
She’s currently seeking someone talented in the ways of making ‘gelato’ - so she can have a very ‘cool’ corner of hand made waffle cones and custom made frozen confections.
