✘ Defense Against the Dark Arts - A
______ Louie had never excelled in this class. If it had all been by the book he would have passed with flying colors, but it was mostly practical and he usually lacked the "oomph" to cast certain spells. The exam was no different. He was barely able to defeat the peacock boggart (which frightened the bloody piss out of him, even if he did his best not to show it) it was mostly a desperate and cheap laugh from turning the fowl into one of those American Thanksgiving turkeys that saved him.

______ Allergies and asthma aside, Louie fought against the snargaluff plant and managed to secure enough pods for the green tubers, and while he didn't harm the plant, he had earned a few nasty scratches to his upper arm.

✘ Study of Ancient Runes - E
______ Louie practiced and studied hard for this, it was a difficult concept for him to wrap his brain around and required more memorization than anything, but thanks to studying fanatically with his girlfriend, he only barely missed out an Outstanding score.
✘ Wandless Magic - A
______ Another class that Louie had always been weak in, the boy hadn't improved as much as he hoped. But he wasn't struggling like he had in the beginning. Summoning the will and power to cast spells had been the easy part, but trying to avoid and counter spells had been his downfall and nearly knocked him into a failing grade.

Potions:
So I sent in two different potion tests for Louie. The first one, I messed up and the final sentence ends with him bottling, labeling, and leaving. The second one is the correct one, with the last sentence edited to show that he "tested the potion on Gus the Pixie". I asked Devi first, and she allowed it, and asked me to include a note for y'all.
