OK, so when people are like... "I am such huge fans of "FOB", "EFF OH BEE"... WHAT THE HELL IS THAT!!?? I cant stand it with any band like My CHemical ROmance... get off your lazy asses and type/write it out! Ok, I am done ranting. If you agree post about it.

I was talking about Fall Out Boy with my friend, and he was like "So, Where'd your Fob cd?"
I was like, "Excuse Moi?"
I don't care for the abbreviations either, but I can live with it.
I caught myself writing FOB a few times before, but I try not to.
I just don't want people saying FAWB. gonk

OMG i freackin hate the abreviations!! evil people are lazey they can't type Fall Out Boy! uuurrrrrrgggghhhhhh!! it annoys the s**t out of me!(srry) i got to into it sweatdrop

i use the abbreviations... but not all the time...
it's easier (and faster) if you don't get too much time on the computer
i use them lots for the song names though...

I use abbreviations. FOB, Fall Out Boy, Eff Oh Bee, it's all the same to me. People know what I'm talking about, why should it matter?
Also, I really don't want to be writing out 'I've Got A Dark Alley And A Bad Idea That Says You Should Shut Your Mouth (Summer Song)' everytime. It's ridiculous.

If you agree post about it. heart At their show in London in January we had to all chant "******** F.O.B" to get them to come back on stage... when you hear a HUGE crowd of people shout that to get Fall out Boy Back on stage you can't really hate it too much (:

I love abbreviations. But only if it's getting really commonly used. (Like...since it's the new single, ALLSCALMTM is fine, we'll know what you're talking about.) If it's some random song or something, like just posting SATGSAW I'll be like "OMGWTFBBQ??"
So I like abbreviations when they're relevant. If you're in the FOB thread, go ahead and use FOB.
But if I were to just go around and say...30STM in the FOB thread, nobody would know what I'm talking about.
So it's fine to me...IF people will get it. Otherwise...pssh. xp It's easier.
Though I like people who type properly.
If you're going to rant about people typing "FOB" then stop posting "OK." It's "okay" damnit. xp

I dont really care. its not that we're being lazy, its that when we're typing or writing it, sometimes we want to say things fast and get it out. Typos are a big deal with it too, with such a big name like that you get typos all the time....
so MOST of the time I use
MCR
FOB
P!@TD
etc etc
plus it makes the names more fun to look at dontcha think?

I really don't care. In fact I use them. If you know what there talking about then why does it matter? Unless there saying it, then it's just annoying.

It just bothers me when people say "EFF OH BEE" its like.. you idiot, you're not wasting any breath saying fall out boy. I mean, typing or writing it isnt that bad except when you're abbreviating something that's so long it takes the reader ten fricking years to figure out what it stands for. I mean you can always shorten it. "I've got a Dark Alley..." Or whatever. Is it really taking up that much of your time?

Well, I use fall out boy abbreiviations too, but I only use FOB. typing out "eff oh bee" is just dumb becuase that is pretty much as lond as the name. But when you are in a time bind and need to finish something I think it is fine to use a quick abreiviation for something like FOB for fall out boy or MCR for my chemical romance (though fall out boy is better. and the singers are hotter.) or OMG for oh my god or WTF for what the f*** If you are in a hurrey then by all means use them, but using an abriviation nobody knows, (but chould be able to figure out. people are so dumb sometimes) like DILLIGAD (Do I look like I give a da**) is not ok cus nobody knows what it means.

i use fall out boy abreviations a lot because if your talking about them you dont have to keep typing fall out boy you can type FOB instead which is a lot more quicker and people still know what and who you mean. Its a lot simpler!
