Two years ago the Snagems had traveled to the Solaceon Town Harvest Festival in order to stop the nefarious plot of Jack of the Lantern, an eternal trickster spirit now confined within the very lantern that allowed him to beat death, said lantern now in the possession of Snagem's own Ghost Channeler, Odd. Since Jack's confinement he was unable to make his annual return to taunt the mortal realm on Halloween last year. Since then Jack has stewed and agonized over his predicament, slowly being consumed by thoughts of vengeance against the ones who put an end to his eternity of joy (but misfortune for others). However, this Halloween Jack just might have an opportunity to be set free once again, thanks to some newfound 'friends'.

It happened before, Countess Pump has had to defend the gateway between the world of the dead and the living before, even from her own cousin who wished to see himself rule over both as the Pumpking. However, never before was she so overwhelmed and taken by surprise, especially not this far away from All Hallow's Eve, which was when she usually expected attacks from the other world as that was when the barrier was weakest. She didn't know how but so many of the underworld's denizens can flooding through the gateway into the mortal realm, far more than she and her pumpkin children could handle. Someone was helping them from this side, they had to be, she just didn't know who.
Countess Pump was forced to abandon the Lost Hotel and take refuge in the swamp forest on Route 14. From there she has sent a message to the Snagems in Mt. Silver, a few of her Pumpkaboo children carrying the letters asking for assistance with them. The letters tell the Snagems of how the gateway was shattered opened well before All Hallow's Eve and now the Lost Hotel, and parts of Routes 15 and 16, are now claimed before the spirits of the underworld. Countess Pump fears that if they are not driven back before All Hallow's Eve that the gateway will remain open permanently, the two worlds melding together for all time. She isn't sure what but the spirits seem to be searching for someone but for now their movement in the mortal realm is limited to the mentioned areas but as the barrier weakens they will be able to spread out further. Countess Pump asks for help in stopping the fusion of the two worlds before it's too late.

[Trick Or Treat]
What's Halloween without some good ole trick or treating? Nothing! That's what. You guys know the drill; every day I'll hide Candy around the guild, Candy can be found on the first page of posts in any thread on the first page of threads on and subforum. Got that? Meaning you only have to look at the threads on page 1 on any subforum and then you only have to look at page 1 of those threads for Candy. Pieces of Candy will come in four colors: red, blue, green, and yellow. Pictures of Candy pieces below.
Now, using your Candy works a little bit different than usual. You have three ways of using your Candy. You can either save up your Candy to exchange them for a prize (some prizes require certain colors), you can 'open' your candy to see what's inside (like a Mystery Box, you lose your candy and get a random prize. Each color has a different prize list), or your can save them for the lotto held on Halloween for one of three fabulous prizes! Isn't that neat?
Each day I'll hide a random amount of Candy and post here how many I have hidden once they are hidden. I will usually try to hide them in the evening time (around or after 4 pm central time) so more people have a chance to be around to find them, however I can't make any guarantees. I will try my best to give everyone and opportunity to find some Candy.
Furthermore Candy will be given for other things as well such as in the Halloween Team Mission and so forth!

[Halloween Mission]
Who You Gonna Call?
A special group of ghost fighters has assembled together this year to help stem the flow of hostile spirits from the other world and they want you to help them! Introducing the Pokebusters!
The Pokemon Tower in Lavender Town, the Old Chateau in Eterna Forest, Mt. Pyre in Hoenn, and the Celestial Tower in Unova are all overwhelmed with hostile spirits and the Pokebusters need your help in fighting them. Gear up in one of their signature jump suits and strap on one of their special proton packs and set off to one of the four locations list. At each of these locations the wild Ghost Pokemon are plentiful and violent, having been roused by a powerful Ghost Pokemon that has crossed over to our side. Fight your way through the hordes of Ghost Pokemon and find the "Boss Ghost" and capture it with the proton pack. You'll have to weaken the ghost in battle before the proton pack can suck it up though, so good luck.
-Objective:
---Join the Pokebusters and set off to either the Pokemon Tower, Old Chateau, Mt. Pyre or Celestial Tower and take out the Boss Ghost causing all the trouble there.
-Opposition:
---Pokemon Tower: Gastly and Haunter mainly, may encounter some Cubone.
-----Boss Ghost: Momma Marowak, the departed spirit of a Marowak killed by Team Rocket. Now twisted from her extended stay in the spirit world Momma Marowak is now an Alolan Marowak of tremendous strength. Can use any move a Marowak usually learns as well as Will-o-Wisp, Shadow Ball, and Flamethrower.
---Old Chateau: Gastly, Haunter, and Rotom.
-----Boss Ghost: Zuul the Gatekeeper, a powerful Rotom that for some reason prefers to possess a fridge in the Old Chateau. Unique to Zuul the ghost has the ability to completely possess other mortals, humans and Pokemon alike so be careful.
---Mt. Pyre: Shuppet and Duskull mainly, may encounter some Vulpix, Meditite, Wingull, and Chimecho.
-----Boss Ghost: Marshmallow Man, a strangely plump and powerful Dusclops that consumes other spirits to empower its self. Be warned, the more spirits Marshmallow Man consumes the bigger he gets, perhaps even bigger than Mt. Pyre!
---Celestial Tower: Litwick and Lampent mainly, may encounter Elgyem and Golbat.
-----Boss Ghost: Slimer Chandelier, a very fat and strange Chandelure. Instead of an ever burning flame it oozes green ectoplasm which drains the life force of those who come in contact with it, Slimer Chandelier then proceeding to eat it to gain the stolen spirit energy. While powerful this particular ghost is very...well, dumb.
---You may encounter some possessed humans.

---You may capture any wild Pokemon except for the Boss Ghosts, they must be captured in the proton pack.
