recovered powers.----- power recovered: FREEDIVER Alexis isn't going to break any records, but put them in the water and they do a lot better than they rationally should. They can stay underwater for a long while at a time without coming up for air, and can dive just a bit deeper than a normal human should be able to do unaided.
(Also, sometimes their hair looks really good after it gets wet instead of making them look like a drowned rat, but that might be more so genetics and less so innate powers.) how recovered: by default
power recovered: MIMICKRY With a little practice, a little time around someone, Alexis can mimic someone’s voice. It’s not perfect, there’s little differences, but they can - in a pinch - manage to sound just like the person they’re speaking as. how recovered: rolling bonus trade-in
power recovered: YOUR BODY IS 70% WATER Alexis is a hydrokinetic -- they can control water around them with little more than their mind and gestures. This ability becomes much more difficult to control or use if Alexis' limbs are restrained / unusable. The water must be in their line of sight for them to begin controlling it. Things they CAN'T draw water from: - Thin air / Plants / living beings / Closed containers / Plumbing they do not have direct, physical access to / anything that would be too large-scale if not GM-approved; they will not pull in all water in the entire city of Ashdown, for example. Alexis also becomes visibly exhausted if put in hot, dry areas, and this ability is actively weakened in such areas. how recovered: rolling bonus trade-in
power recovered: EXECUTIONER Alexis' teeth have shifted to be razor-sharp and jagged; able to bite through flesh with only minor effort. As a result of this, their diet has shifted to be primarily meat, as their teeth are no longer suited to vegetation. how recovered: glitch recovery power
power recovered:TRACKER'S EYE with focus, and knowledge of what is wanted to be tracked, alexis can see the spectral trail of where an animal/person has been/where it went. this must be within the last few hours and will not work if alexis does not have some kind of item to help clue them in. this ability only works with alexis’s left eye and may not always work if other forces are in play. how recovered: [Void]
power recovered: BREEZE You can cause a light breeze to ruffle someone's hair or underthings, or really anything else you want to be breezed at. how recovered: [Void]
power recovered: WORLD AS A WEAPON Alexis is never without a weapon. If they don't have one on hand, there's always - somehow - something sharp enough nearby, just within arm's reach. how recovered: [Void]
power recovered: PREDATOR'S GAZE Alexis just lets off an unsettling aura -- it's very difficult to feel at ease in their presence, especially if their gaze is trained on you. how recovered: [Void]
power recovered: how recovered:

Quote: Before posting into the new thread, please roll 1d4 in your character's record. This determines how much damage you take from the glitch. Glitch damage cannot be healed, and must be worked around. Subtract your roll from your character's health total, and add the effect posted below to your post header. 1. Disorientation. No stat changes. 2. Migraine. -1 to all combat rolls. 3. Light physical damage. -1 to all combat rolls. 4. Severe disorientation. -2 to persuasion rolls. So, a character who rolled a 3 would have a new maximum health total of 22 and a -1 debuff to combat rolls. A character who rolled a 1 would have a new maximum health total of 24 and no debuffs. You will have an opportunity to undo the debuffs in the future. You may also reclaim one more power at this time.

Alexis blinks at Veronica's drawing. Once, twice. And -- it's okay, it's okay, it's okay -- focuses, reaches deep within themself and pulls, the water arcing up in twisting streaks above them in a semblance of the sigil. "We can cast with Sunny as the fourth . Winding her into the seal means she'll be even more tied to it. More power for us, too." They slant a look to Zac - almost sad, maybe. "You look like Sunny, at the right angle. If we've got to use flesh, can you do it?" He knows what they mean -- how can he not? He was there, when the group found the foot what seems like so long ago; when Heliodora and her demesne, Pax and other ashdown, were new and exciting and wondrous. The flesh must be sacrificed to grow. You have to open the wound to let it heal -- this void, this rend in existence, is what but an open wound? (The mouth is an open wound - no. Silly. They can't kiss the girl to fix this.)
There are tears running down their face, almost without their notice. They want to cry. They want to scream. Holding back everything for this long is -- it's so -- they can't. But they need to hold on, just a little longer, so everyone can go home. This isn't going to fix anything -- but it's broken and it can't be fixed -- throw the cage into the river. Let it all go. Let it all go, and build a new house, one with golden windows where the sun shines right in and your bird can breathe.
The sigil is drawn. The sigil will breathe. Alexis bites down, a little, on their palm and lets it bleed, letting a whisper of water carry it to the sigil - there are dewdrops beading on their hair and on their skin, a faint mist whipped up into a flurry around them, their shoes soaked through -- the water around them is very much alive with their thoughts, with their breathing, it is the beat of their heart. "I am a Noble of the Court of the Sorrowful One," they whisper, real quiet-like, "and I will protect my people." That's their mission statement. Or part of it, anyways. They will protect their own, they will contain the magic but give it room to grow (vines on the windowsill, vines on a trellis), give it nice solid roots and give it water to live -- wait, that's ******** stupid -- well. This isn't the time for them to second-guess. This is the time for them to believe. And Alexis does.
They will, and can, believe in this. In Sunny, driven mad by the violence, given another chance with their blood. In growth. In the strength of Ashdown, ******** up as it is, ******** up as they are -- there is a chance for something more here.
(This is what Alexis sacrificed for, after all. This is what they became a Noble for. To protect and help people -- not just people -- their people.
Maybe that means more people than they expected, but they're not going to back down from bleeding. They never will.)
