"Thank you," Keiko said once the captain took her ticket and let her aboard. Her path from Castelia City's Pokemon center to the closest pier to that was unsurprisingly uneventful, as was the teleportation from HQ to the city. Why didn't she just teleport straight to Mossdeep? A certain Gardevoir talked her out of it.
As if on cue, Rala teleported next to Keiko once she was in the boat. "Wow, I've never been on a boat before! Isn't this so exciting? We get to go on an adventure!"
"You got bored from sitting around in HQ, huh?' Keiko asked non-chalantly.
"A little," Rala replied cutely.

"A little," Rala replied cutely. As the S.S. Tidal set off from Castelia Port and made way for its home in Hoenn the crew went about their work, making sure their cargo was secure. The S.S. Tidal didn't leave Hoenn often, usually used as a ferry back home, however it has been making trips to and from Unova to not only pick up passengers but also shipments of Elemental Gem. The precious stones have seen increasing use in technological advancements, ironically thanks in part to Cipher technology. From where Keiko stood she would spot another passenger, a young man sporting all grey attire, beanie included. Rala would be able to detect the person's feelings of loneliness and sorrow as he watched Castelia disappear in the horizon.

Rala wouldn't recognize the man, as she was but a mere Ralts when last they met, but she would definitely pick up on his emotions, and be unable to resist trying to help. "Hey, there. You okay? You seem kinda down."
Keiko would recognize the man, but not right away. "Rala, he might not... Toren?"

TerashiLeonGoken Rala wouldn't recognize the man, as she was but a mere Ralts when last they met, but she would definitely pick up on his emotions, and be unable to resist trying to help. "Hey, there. You okay? You seem kinda down."Keiko would recognize the man, but not right away. "Rala, he might not... Toren?"Toren would jump as the Gardevoir's voice rang in his head, he hadn't felt such a thing in a very long time. As he turned around to see who was responsible for the mental intrusion he would see Keiko, his facing going white as he did. "Oh...uh...hi." Was all he knew to say.

TerashiLeonGoken "Oh, hey, Toren," Keiko said cheerfully, completely unaware of the man's betrayal of her team. "It's been a while since we last met. Sorry about Rala, she's gotten really strong and can sense other people's emotions really easy." Toren didn't speak at first, instead he just stared at Keiko for a little longer before then staring at Rala for a good longer while before finally speaking again. "That's Rala?" Was the first thing he said, the man surprised to see Rala all 'grown' up. "Nice to see you both again..."

"Yeah. Terashi worked hard to get her as strong as she is," Keiko nodded, though Rala knew that Keiko wasn't telling the whole truth. Rala was the one that decided to imbibe a Rare Candy, and she'd been training herself, lately. Though she was a bit too embarrassed to come out and say so.
"By the way, are you okay?" Keiko asked, noticing how bummed out Toren seemed to be. "You seem kinda sad."

Just...been traveling a lot, tired. You know how it is." He was holding back something.

TerashiLeonGoken "We're gonna go see my Master!" Rala cheered telepathically. Keiko shot Toren an apologetic look. "Terashi went to Mossdeep to train under some Gym Leaders, so Rala and I are visiting him, since he's been gone for a while." "Oh, well that's cool." Toren said plainly, as if he really didn't care or rather just wished he was somewhere else by now. "I guess we'll be traveling together for awhile until we reach Hoenn then." He almost sighed. "Attention passengers, a storm is brewing up ahead. We ask all passengers to go below deck and prepare for rough seas." A voice spoke on the louder speaker.

TerashiLeonGoken Keiko was about to ask Toren a second time if he was okay, but the announcement got her worried. "I guess we'll talk later," she said, before making her way below deck to get ready for the storm. Toren would follow after Keiko, while he really didn't want to mingle with her too much he didn't have much of a choice in this situation. As they all made their way below deck both of them would realize there weren't too many passengers on board, in fact it was just her, him, and one other elderly man and his Wingull. Toren would find a chair to sit on in the little makeshift lobby below deck, the chair nailed to the floor so it didn't move as the ship swayed, which it did an awful lot at this point. "So...how is Sub?" He would almost reluctantly ask Keiko, as if he had to ask but still didn't want to.
