Sure, his vision was blurry but it had improved since coming to. He couldn't remember the last time he had left his dorm, or much of anything else. It was like starting out fresh but knowing you had missed a lot in the time between. Again, he wasn't concerned. Hayes kept walking until he reached the edge of the academy, deciding where it was he wanted to go and what he should do next. His eyes began to glow brightly in the darker light and with his natural grumpy nature he didn't appear to be all that approachable. In reality he wasn't. At least not by much. He wasn't one who sought out conversation naturally--though not one to ignore one either--he considered the merits of going somewhere with more townies.
