The TEST:


You are are brought to the tree labyrinth of no return. Your goal is to destroy the wooden targets inside the labyrinth while avoiding traps and reach the end. Destroy at LEAST 3 out of the 5 wooden targets. BEWARE. This test is VERY difficult.

HP:If your HP reaches zero it is GAME OVER.
THE MAP: Your horsemen starts at tile 1 (make a mental tally this is their starting zone in the event. Their goal is to reach the exit at tile 50.

- Roll 1d10. Add the amount you rolled to your total tile number until you hit tile 50 or over. Match your dice roll to the events below.
Rolling 1-2: An obstacle falls on you! You lose -5 HP!
Rolling 3-4: Traps fall from the bottom and nearly impale you! You lose - 10 HP!
Rolling 5: You find a wooden target!
Rolling a 6: A giant axe lands and neatly beheads you! You dissipate. You have to start all over again.
Rolling 7: Nothing happens
Rolling 8: You find a wooden target!
Rolling 9: Nothing happens
Rolling 10: You find a wooden target!

GOAL: Roll 1d10 and add your rolls until they are greater than 50. In addition, have at least 3 wooden targets collected.
UPON COMPLETION: You have done it! Your horseman gains the CHIEFTAIN PASSIVE ABILITY:


Chieftain passive ability: Chieftains command the skies, attacking from above. They can change their mount into large flying EAGLE FORM (or any BIRD OF PREY ONLY) and command it to attack/others/ fetch things/ have it act as a secondary assistant for as long as they'd like. In their second stage (if your horseman is elder horseman) they can turn themselves into eagle form as well.
- In battle, you you may roll 3 of your dice instead of 2 for a regular attack one turn by summoning your mount/eagle into battle.

Restless was an understatement. Neither horseman had taken well to knowing that Medea had been fine placing a meathead puppet in charge of War Clan for the moment, and it was starting to show. The wrong remark would cause the greatest arguments over nothing, random destruction beyond their lair and gathered prizes from their kills were starting to pile up, and the air was thick with a tension that seemed to just put more pressure on them.

The solution was mind numbingly simple: reclaim their titles as chieftain. Well, reclaim for Shaheen anyway. Shik had simply given in to her assurances that he was better off as one with her than an executioner, if only because it might hold more weight. He highly doubted she believed this would fix their problem, but for now it was an answer that didn't end with them clawing out the inside of their tree hollow into ruin from anger.

He had heard form Shaheen how difficult the test was and was eager to test himself against it. As they entered the labyrinth, he flashed her a grin. "Shall we make it a race?" he asked, for no challenge was ever enough.

Shaheen was always, at best, a roller coaster of emotions, except those emotions generally ranged from unhappy to incredibly unhappy, and especially now. She was quick to anger, snappish, a bristling fury of feathers and rage, and that was on her good days.

Everything that happened, everything that was said, they were all slights against her, they were all insults, and poor Shik had been enduring the brunt of her wrath for days.

Not that he'd been a basket of sunshine and rainbows, either.

But he had suggested this distraction, and it was a good distraction, to be sure. A test of her strength and abilities, to prove that she was better, that she deserved this role in her clan, that Medea had chosen wrong.

Shik's grin was answered with one of her own.

"Always." Was her quick and simple reply, and she was already off.

Naturally, Shik let her go first. Naturally. He then went the opposite way, and away they went. He found a target and grabbed it in passing.

At first it seemed like things were going well. Too well, naturally, and suddenly a booby trap opened beneath her, spikes jabbing into her legs before she beat her wings and scrambled out.

Right. Not easy.

And that was when, naturally, he started to get into some pitfalls. Literally. He growled as he shook the rocks from his form and climbed out of the hole.

She must have gone the wrong way. Shik was probably finished by now.

Rocks fell on her. This was not going well.

And then there was the third...Shik was getting very apprehensive now.

But nothing continued to happen. In fact, before long, he found himself at the end of the labyrinth. Bewildered was a mild way to describe how he felt.

Well...now for Shaheen to come on in so they could finish this up.
