Just after everything she had told him if he had questions, she would answer them. She would tell him everything that she knew (which wasn't much, but it was more now, than before). In truth, she hasn't expected him to wait so long before coming to find her, imagining perhaps that he'd chosen to forget about what he'd seen, rather than pursue it.
When he found her, months later, she was a bit surprised by it, but pleasantly so. She didn't mind talking about the mirror or the power. Liked to, infact, but had only done so with Riley as of yet.
She led him to the lake, a quiet place they could sit and talk. Surrounded by nature, her element. The Djinn felt the most at ease here.

There was nowhere Harrow felt at ease, but that was hardly a new thing. He'd grown up in a home that felt too big in the way it echoed around him, in the expensive halls and high ceilings -- while in others it was too small, Harrow himself too easily found, even after the echoes of his brother had long faded from its halls.
His expression was a bit flat, a bit pinched, but that was also just Harrow. No judgment on Yaya, or her choice of meeting place; no annoyance, though maybe the tip of his frown made it seem that way as he approached, stiff-shouldered and bundled up in his usual careful layers of clothing.
His eyes darted to the water, and he uncomfortably tried to find a place to put his hands that didn't look awkward. Silence dripped off of him, and maybe it seemed like judgment, but mostly he just didn't know what to say.
