The other Bathroom
Typhis had quite enjoyed the multitude of food in the castle, but it was hard not to ignore the feeling of being out of place, being around all these strangers. He decided it was time to explore this school, with its reputation for the uncanny and bizarre.
He stepped outside, frowning as he lifted up one arm. It was strange to be in such a tiny form, with its lack of scales. His arms felt naked without the feel of his wings, his mouth more tiny and less threatening. He couldn't even breathe fire for jacks sake! But it was to be expected, you couldn't walk around as a giant monster in a school, and he didn't feel like getting arrested for accidentally burning things. He didn't have full reign of his fire breath anyway. The wyvren walked along the pathway with the large trees overhead, heading towards the main school. Inside it was the standard hallways, cork boards filled with flyers, hallways littered with students in various prom dresses and suits.
Walking down the hall he was keen to look at some of the classrooms, when he stopped. Something shiny had caught his eye. He turned towards the bathrooms where the golden glow was coming from.
He walked inside and gasped. The whole place was filled with gold! In the back of his mind he knew it was bad to steal from a school but there was no one around and as they say, finders keepers. With a toothy grin he reached out to grasp some when they began to change, their golden hue melting into a thick slime.
"Ugh!" He growled, startled when the slime reached out to him instead. He was quick to bolt out of the bathroom and made a mental note not to grab anymore shiny coins in this place.

[ THE SCHOOL OFFICE ]
After a narrow escape from the monster eating slime, Typhis leaned against a wall to catch his breath. Of course this place would have booby traps to keep trespassers from stealing anything. At least the slime wasn't following him. Once he calmed down he took stock of his surroundings. He had ran so fast down a number of corridors he was quite lost. There was a door nearby, imprinted letters on the glass declaring it to be the school office. He froze, tail rigid as he half expected a large teacher to storm out and know he had tried to take those coins. When no such teachers appeared he calmed down. It was then he noticed the sign on the front with the word "CLOSED" writing on it in large bold letters.
There wasn't anyone around, and as he stood there his curiosity began to peak again. What would it be like to explore the school office? He glanced around, eyes narrowing to slits as he kept a lookout for anyone coming by, especially those little gnomes that scurried everywhere. What exactly were they anyway? School teachers, slaves, assistants?
After standing there for some, with no one appearing, Typhis worked the courage to test the door itself. A clawed hand reached out, grasping the handle. He gulped, testing the handle. To his surprise it turned, opening with ease. How could they not lock this office? It then occurred to the wyvren there might be some sort of spell or guardian, but when nothing came at him he stepped into the room.

[ THE SCHOOL OFFICE ]
The office looked deserted. Cobwebs littered the desk, absent of any spiders scuttling around, covering even the piles of paper and detention slips left haphazardly. Typhis was puzzled by the lack of attention to this place. Of course the staff wouldn't be here, they were busy with the prom, but exactly how long had no one been in this room?
He stepped around the table, holding his reptilian tail away from anything say he break it by accident. To his surprise there were three gnomes, slumped against the wall in what was obviously a drunken stupor. The cause was stashed away in the drawers under the desk; bottles and bottles of what he assumed was some sort of ale.
"What kind of drink is this?" The wyven lifted a bottle, turning it to reading the label. "Apple cider...?" Wasn't this supposed to be a scarelings drink? Truth be told he didn't have much experience with such things; he was used to the taste of water or meat, much more widely available outside the towns of halloween and in the wilderness and mountains where his family lived. Not that he had never tried it before, they did sometimes come into town. Maybe every decade or so.
His curiosity was overpowering his common sense, and uncorking the bottle he took a swig. Immediately his vision spun, and he had to grab the table to keep from falling over, hurriedly placing the bottle down.
"Thish ish some powerful shtuff." He hiccuped, and slumped down next to the gnomes as he became too dizzy to walk.

[ CLASSROOM 3A ]
It took some time, but after an hour Typhis was feeling much more coherent, and he could stand properly too. He left the office and its copious amount of apple cider to explore the school some more, and hopefully… hopefully not get into any more trouble.
It was like this whole place was enchanted with reaper spells and incantations, something he was not at all familiar with being a monster and all. It was giving credit to all the rumors he had heard. Well, not of all them. There were the ones involving disappearing students. So far he hadn’t seen anything that could lend that one credit, but then he’d only been here for a few hours.
None of this was about to scare him away however. He wasn’t about to be frightened by tall tales or some slime in a bathroom. The wyvern turned a corner and stopped, eyes narrowing. Along the hallway were doors leading to what he assumed were classrooms, utterly normal looking and nothing out of the ordinary. Except one of them had caught his eye. The door was opened, and even standing well away he felt his skin crawl and tail thrash in nervousness.
The door was pink. And covered in glitter.
Typhis shook his horned head. The sight was unnerving, and while he told himself he wasn’t scared of such a silly looking design, the more he stepped closer the more he could see into the classroom. Cute little unicorn designs were everywhere, everything was adorable and it put him on edge. He got a few feet from the door when he heard a creaking sound, the door moved, glitter softly falling to the ground, and he decided that maybe he would come back later
