The fact that approximately 50% of persons in any given poll still consider themselves Christian also says something about them. If we still have that many people claiming Christ, we should not have a "coarse" culture in the overall sense. There is something else going on which is making America "Post-Christian" and some of it has to do with supposed Christians. We gotta take some responsibility here... part of that may be to recognize that many that call themselves Christian are false converts or "defective" in their understanding/practice of Christianity. Just my two cents worth...
