She can't stand it when her clothes are stained, faded, or torn, she won't eat something if it's plated sloppily or a sort of messy/haphazard presentation, she wants to get perfect scores, and she absolutely wants everything she comes into contact with to be, for lack of a better term, flawless. Celeste's motto is 'if you're going to do something, do it right the first time'. She's very careful and possessive of all her belongings and despises mess and careless people.

Yes, she can be extremely competitive, jealous, and/or self-centered, but she's certainly not rude to people, and she's not at all the type to go about provoking arguments or insulting others. Generally, she prides herself on keeping her composure and not getting caught up in the heat of the moment, even when her temper is sparked.

She loves looking at the beauty of the world around her, she can be surprisingly creative, and she loves pretty things and using big, grandiose words to describe them. Sometimes she can't see the forest for the trees, but there is still a part of her that loves to create and do things just because, not always if there's a prize or achievement at stake, and it comes out most when she is happy and content, such as when she is baking or ice skating or just flying on her broom during the first snowfall.

- CHILDHOOD
xxx»» Celeste was born the only child of Elsie Shoichet nee Vass and David Shoichet. Growing up, her mother taught Charms at Hogwarts and her father was a hit wizard, so she had a fairly untypical childhood, even for a young witch. Cella spent most of her days being babysat by her aunt Newlyn, who ran the music shop in Hogsmeade, and was used to her parents both being very consumed by their work, although it was better in the summers when her mother had time off from school and they could do things together. Despite looking like a younger version of Elsie, Cella was always a Daddy's girl and became very fond of her father when he was around, since his work as a hit wizard often called him away on dangerous long-term missions. She knew it made her mother lonely and worried and so Celeste tried to be a very self-sufficient child at a young age, with mixed results. Occasionally she wished she had a younger sibling to boss around or make play with her, but she also understood that her parents were perfectly happy with one child. She attended a muggle primary school at her father's insistence, as he wanted her to know what a 'normal' life was like before she went off to Hogwarts. She first displayed her magic at the age of six, something that she'd been very fretful over, since her cousins had been showing theirs much earlier. Fortunately, she had a lifetime friend in Ella, who happened to be the daughter of her parents' schoolmates. Cella looked forward to Hogwarts with some trepidation, knowing it wouldn't really be 'away' from her family with her aunt, uncle, and cousins living in the village and her mother being a teacher there.
SCHOOL YEARS
- FIRST YEAR »» Cella was sorted into Slytherin and her best friend Ella into Gryffindor, to literally no one's surprise. Luckily the girls still found time to hang out. Cella threw herself into her classes with her usual disturbing fervor for competition, except in Charms, which she was unusually quiet in.

SECOND YEAR »» Cella rounded out her second year by befriending Ella's friend Pietro, thus solidifying their golden trio. She also spent a good deal of time in Cooking Club, hopelessly crushing on the ever-critical August, and perfecting her cupcake decorating skills.
