1. Conventions (Basically, what is a convention about) A convention is an opportunity for fans to be able to gather in a safe-space where they can be them. I provides opportunities to meet new friends, attend panels to educate themselves, learning what is new in the community, and buying goodies.
2. Cosplay / Crossplay (Basics on what it's all about) Cosplay is dressing in costume and is deprived from the words Costume and Play.
Crossplay is the act of cosplaying a character of a different gender.
3. Cosplay Outfit Creation (We have a lot of info on that) 1. What do you want to do? 2. How is it going to be created (handmade, altering items, buy) 3. What are the steps to make it? 4. Do it. 5. Wear and have fun.
4. Tips and advice on what's needed to go to a convention. Bring water and snacks, wear conformable shoes (if you can), read and follow the rules, respect space.
5. Convention / Cosplay Etiquette (Basic Rules) 1. Respect personal space. 2. Respect the word No. 3. Respect the rules 4. Follow the 6-2-1 rule
6. What's at a convention Culture, panels, venders Hall/Artist Alley, gaming hall, cosplay, photoshoots, fun
7. Buying items (Swag) at a Dealers Room / Artists Alley Always support your Artist Alley peeks. They have cool and custom goods. Vender's hall is great for figures and and official goodies.
8. Anything else that you can think of. Trust me their is so much more!! There's always more, but going and experiencing is what will help a person develop there 'much more".
