Here is a PSA about the characters explaining about The Inside Scoop & offering a Salute to Double Dare.
This is for those who are unfamiliar with the famous Nickelodeon TV Show that ran from 1986 to 2019 which is a favorite of many across its incarnations, Original, Super Sloppy, Fox/Nickelodeon Family, Super Special, 2000 & 2018 Reboot.
This section is also outside the main IC for the guild.

[Player's Room] The Guild Owner watches an Episode of Fox Family Double Dare on his Computer as we see Eldin use the Gate Spell to enter the Player's Room with Aulona & speaks to the viewers.
Guild Owner's Computer: TAKE THE PSYCHICAL CHALLENGE!!! On the Computer, shots of Double Dare are shown along with Harvey's voiceover. Guild Owner's Computer: Tonight, the whole family can Dare to Win on the game that's filled with spills and packed with prizes... Fox Family Double Dare! Next, Marc's voice over is heard on the computer from the 1988 episode. Guild Owner's Computer: On Your Mark... Get Set... The Guild Owner pauses the tape as he has company.
Why hello there. I'm Eldin from the Mermaid Princess Roleplay Guild & this is Aulona from the same guild. Introduce yourself, Aulona. Eldin said to the viewers.

[Player's Room] Eldin spoke to the viewers. We have something to show you. The Guild Owner can explain...
The Guild Owner spoke to the characters then Viewers. Guild Owner: Nice to meet you both & that is true. What you just saw is how every Episode of Double Dare begins & this is how most of them end. The Guild Owner then shows an example of the Double Dare Obstacle Course from 1988 to Eldin and Aulona:
The Guild Owner spoke to the characters then Viewers. Guild Owner: But what everyone doesn't know what goes on in between. Some of which you see and some of which you do not. As a result, we'll be showing you The Inside Scoop of Double Dare. Which means what goes on Double Dare but there's some things that are never seen because it was never seen before. For example, the Very First Prototype Version of Double Dare before it made the airwaves along with some hints that would help a player beat the Psychical Challenges and win the Obstacle Course.
Would you like to hear more, Aulona? Because the person who made this guild looks very familiar with it. I would like to know more about it.

[Player's Room] Eldin sits on the Guild owner's bed with Aulona as they listen to their Guild Creator's story. Aulona, this is the person who made this guild. I'm sure it'll be an interesting story he has to tell us. It's about something that he grew up with.
The Guild Owner spoke to the characters then Viewers. Guild Owner: Okay. I'll explain one bit at a time. Normally before a show hits the airwaves, its goes through a Test Phase several times to see if its done right & long before the Marc Summers Era of Double Dare, Nickelodeon wanted to see how children would react to a show where not knowing about something can be fun and messy. So in Spring of 1986, a Prototype Version of Double Dare was filmed.
*Double Dare Prototype Pilot, WHYY Recording Q2-1986.76* The Guild Owner plays the recording on his computer. Darby: Thank you and welcome, we're going to start this game with a Trivia Round of Double Dare. As you know, in the Trivia Round, if you don't know the answer or think its a smart move, you can Dare you opponents to answer it for twice the money, because if they get it wrong, you get the dollars. So get ready, we'll start with a Toss Up Question, hands on the buzzers. This is for $10 and control of the game... Pilot Prototype Gameplay is shown.
*Time Card: 2 Minutes Later...*
*Double Dare Prototype Pilot, WHYY Recording Q2-1986.76* The recording on his computer continues playing. Darby: ...Are you ready, Phoebe? Phoebe's Ready. Gabe, are you ready? Gabe's Ready. Okay, and go! The Guild Owner Speaks as the recording plays. Guild Owner: Both that set and guy needs work. Anyway, that is the Geoffrey Darby in the recording, who is the Executive Producer of the Original Double Dare from 1986 to 1993, hosting the Prototype Pilot of Double Dare & that Obstacle Course looks all like Cardboard Cutouts. The Slime Canal looks different than it does back in the Prototype and The Tank is smaller that it was today. But children were smart enough to know a good thing when they saw it and that Hopeful Prototype became this... The Guild Owner then showed another Winning Team on Double Dare on his computer to Eldin and Aulona:

Aulona said hi to the owner. She then listened very closely to what was being said, even if it was still very confusing. Mostly because she had never experience something like this before.

The Guild Owner spoke to the characters then Viewers. Guild Owner: After that Double Dare was on its way to the airwaves. They had Psychical Challenges, the Obstcale Course & General Knowledge Questions but they had no host & announcer. As for its First Location where it was filmed at. It was the PBS Station WHYY Philadelphia. For the Announcer, John Harvey was chosen who at the time was a Philadelphia Morning Radio Personality who hosted "Harvey in the Morning". For Host, they chose Marc Summers, who was a Stage Comedian and Magician during that time who auditioned to be the Host of Double Dare.
*WHYY Recording 1986.77* The Guild Owner plays the recording on his computer. Audition Video: ...You going to Double Dare them back? Okay, $40 or the Psychical Challenge, "How many pennies are in one dollar?" You're going to take the Psychical Challenge? Okay... A Ball toss into a Hula hoop challenge is shown.

After showing the clip on the computer. Guild Owner: The job of hosting Double Dare was Marc Summers after that. So, now that he has the job, its a New Show, and you need to know How it's Played. So each day, we hear the rules of the show. Here's how they sounded during the Prototype.
*WHYY Recording 1986.78* The Guild Owner plays the recording on his computer. Audition Video: ...Now you know the rules, if you don't know the answer or think the other team is stumped, you can Dare them to double the score, but be careful because they can Double Dare back to Triple...
Guild Owner: Here's how they sounded on the First Show... *WHYY Recording 1986.77* The Guild Owner plays a second recording on his computer. Computer: Now on Double Dare, you get to win dollars but a Dare gets you Double and here's how that works. I am going to ask a question and if you don't know the answer or think the other team hasn't got a clue, you can Dare them to answer it for Double but because as they can Double Dare back for 4 times the amount, when we do that however, you need to answer the question or take the Physical Challenge.

The Guild Owner spoke to the characters then Viewers. Guild Owner: Some days Marc said the rules on the show and some days he did not. Some examples would be having the rules spoke by Dave and Robin, the staff speaking the rules of the game and using Cue Cards. But in 1988, Marc celebrated after fully remembering the rules, he preformed the Burning of the Cue Cards. As for the Psychical Challenge come from, which are done backstage as they preform Test Runs since every challenge you would see are done in Test Runs and that challenge doesn't pass a Test Run, it will not be shown. Sometimes, even though it passes a Test Run, it doesn't get done on the show. The Locked Door and Key was one that didn't work while the Mailbox & Paper Airplane did get done as the paper airplane landed in the mailbox lid which counted as a win.
= Psychical Challenge Hints Guild Owner: Here's some hints on how characters can complete a Psychical Challenge. In Rubber Duck Dunk, the idea is to get wet while submerging the rubber ducks in a small tub of water. Clown Shoe Golf, you need to make sure there's a hole in the front of the shoe. Lift up the back heel, so that the shoe is leveled as the golf ball will go in. For Harvey's Wild Oats, two girls from Austin, Texas showed everyone how it was done. Harvey could have done that but sometimes appeared in costumes instead.
= Harvey Costumes & Others Guild Owner: Harvey's costumes would include an Elvis Costume, Quaker Oats Costume, Santa Costume, Clown Costume & even Disney's Tarzan Costume. The other 2 people on Double Dare from 1986 to 1993 were Dave and Robin.
= Pilot Episode Troubles Guild Owner: Sometimes, some things can happen on Double Dare that are planed or not planed... One was the Nightmare Segment of the Obstacle Course which was done 4 times. The first was when the Champion Team spent a long time finding the flag inside a bag filled with Feathers. The problem was, the staff of the show forgot to put a flag inside it. The second time, the staff put the flag on top of the feathers, but the Champion Team dumped the bag out and the flag was lost inside the feathers. You can't show a champion team losing on the first segment of the Obstacle Course, so it was done a third time. The Third time, the cameraman fell over and blocked their path. The Final time resulted in the Champion Team completing 5-6 out of 8 Segments of the Obstacle Course.
Aulona kept listening. There sure was a lot to take in at once.

= Sundae Slide Hint Guild Owner: Here's some hints for the Obstacle Course such as the Sundae Slide. Don't place your feet in the chocolate syrup otherwise you'll slip. What you need to do is place your feet underneath the railings as you climb up & there was plenty of Champion Teams who did it just like that... The Guild Owner shows an example of the Sundae Slide on his computer:
= Hamster Wheel Hint Guild Owner: Here's some hints for the Hamster Wheel in the Obstacle Course. One of the biggest mistake that people make is that they run in place which goes no where. The trick is to walk or run up the wall of the Hamster Wheel to light the 6 Lights up as fast as you can. The faster you go, the faster the lights will light up. Some Champion Teams did so and this could be a character team's Wheel of Fortune, so to speak. The Guild Owner shows an example of the Hamster Wheel on his computer:
= Skit Segments Guild Owner: Double Dare sometimes do Educational Segments by teaching great things as its more than Educational Segments, there's interesting players, plenty of messes, the Obstacle Course & even talent impressions such as on seen on the Episodes such as Elvis's Birthday or Famous Impressions. However, there are things done on the show that Marc Summers did, such as wearing a Santa hat on the Christmas 1986 Episode, make a bet with Harvey such as a custard pie in the face in Marc's face if the Champion Team wins all 8 Prizes or Harvey's face if they don't win all 8 Prizes on the Obstacle Course, or wear an Elvis Suit Jacket in the Custard Pie Invasion episode in 1988.
= Skit Segments Guild Owner: Those were planned but some were not. One such unplanned thing was the famous Toy Rowboat incident in 1987's Super Sloppy Double Dare, Marc getting pelted with Custard Pies in the Pie Invasion Episode in 1988.
= Staff Obstacle Course Run Guild Owner: Marc & Harvey ran the Obstacle Course as well, twice. We'll talk about the second time in a bit. The first time they did it was after filming an episode and recorded a Test Run with the Clock maxed at 99 since they were fooling around. It was done in 49 Seconds after the Test Run.
Aulona stayed quiet, really trying to understand everything that was said.

= PSA Part 2 Guild Owner: Double Dare became a worldwide hit which all started on Nickelodeon in October 1986. Not only Double Dare changed the way Children's Television was made but also added the phrase, "Psychical Challenge" to the English Language. Psychical Challenges is what players take if they don't know the answer to a question. When Double Dare began, some were simple, while some were hard. But one thing we learned was this, it's fun to get messy on Double Dare. For over 30 Years that Double Dare was on the air, they asked over 20,000 Questions, over 7,000 Physical Challenges, but everyone remembers the best part of Double Dare which is the Obstacle Course & its really fun to see a Champion Team win all 8 prizes in the Obstacle Course.
= Filming & Road Shows Guild Owner: When Double Dare started production, it was the WHYY Station in Philadelphia, they moved to Unitel Video at New York, then back to WHYY and Finally... Guild Owner: ...The Nickelodeon Studios in Orlando, Florida. That means if you come to the Universal Studios Amusement Park from 1990 to 2004, you can visit the Double Dare Sound Stage. See the Obstacle Course, watch a taping live in person & audition to be on the show. Double Dare also did Road Shows across the United States in over 50 Cities, they even did a show in Central Park which attracted 10,000 People.
