What's Your Favorite Month of the Yea and why? October! It's my birthday month, which I share the day with my aunt... and it's also autumn! I love autumn. Halloween is at the end of the month, and I love decorating in pumpkins, cute spook, and just knowing that we're at the start of the Holiday Season!

I'm Inspired to Write!

Personality: Charismatic, flirty, confident, materialistic, covetous, holier-than-thou.
History: This 'taur has grown up in the lap of luxury. High class parents gave them everything they ever wanted, leading to a spoiled young adult who set off to travel and see what the world had to give them. Thanks to their natural charm and their seemingly bottomless coin purse, they have made their way from town to town without a hitch, leaving it a bit more messy than they found it.

Overall their past was full of admirers, like-minded 'taurs with similar status and wealth, and generally sheltered from the less pleasant things in the world. They know little of the dangers the Isles have to offer and don't care to spend time learning about it, more than happy to toss money at whatever problems come their way that they can't solve with a wink and a flirtatious smile.

Prompt: The leaves are slowly beginning to turn, and there's a chill in the air -- how does your centaur plan on preparing for the upcoming fall and winter? Are they preparing for the harvest? Are they just enjoying the last lazy days of summer and whiling away their time? What have they gotten up to and what are their hopes for the future?

Summer was starting to come to a close if the trees were anything to go by. Leaves were changing from green to an off-yellow, signaling that although the days were still warm, the cool evenings were a promise of what was to come. For the young 'taur taking a tour of everything the Islands had to offer, fall couldn't come soon enough. Summer was nice and made for easy travel but things really started to get interesting once the harvest was done and parties could really get into full swing. Crafters turned out their finest wares this time of year it seemed and they were ready to toss some coin towards the best furs, purest gems, and freshest food.

The winter would be impending as well, but they didn't mind. It allowed them to wear their luxurious clothing without overheating and although they'd been warned that travel would become troublesome thanks to the snow and muck, they had plans to settle in a town for longer than they had been to ride out the bad weather. They had to make sure it would be a place suitable for them to reside in for a few months, of course, and they already had a few picked out that they could circle back to if nothing they found between now and the first chilly day suited their fancy. They had standards, after all.

What was the point of this excursion? To find the best of everything, of course. It was what they deserved. Clothing, jewelry, food, drink, companionship, all of that and more. And of course they'd be gracing everyone they met with their presence which was a gift in itself. They weren't stingy in that regard, giving their coin and conversation in equal amounts...to those who were worthy of it, naturally.

They made a mental note that a larger cart might be in order for their entourage to haul all the things they were going to buy in the coming months. Surely an important purchase. They'd just have to make sure it was of the finest quality and craftsmanship! Even if they weren't the one hauling it it would be in their presence and therefore had to be perfect.
