Everyone is invited to join in the fun we have during the competition, regardless of their guild role, or the part they play in the on-going cycle. So, in whatever way, please consider staying with us a while, if only just to watch the contest unfold. At Project Catwalk, you are among friends!
This guild is a safe space for all, where we encourage our patrons to get involved wherever they feel comfortable enough to do so.
Our guild members are urged to participate in any and all opportunities Project Catwalk provides, whether that means competing in mini contests, engaging in group discussions, or maybe even securing a coveted spot as a Designer in the main competition!
To our cycle Designers, we hope you feel at home in here, as this thread will be like your creative studio and workshop throughout the duration of your time competing. And to our loyal spectators, we anticipate that you will be thoroughly entertained (and perhaps even inspired) with the works of art created by our cycle competitors.

► Hopeful participants must first apply for the cycle by submitting an audition — no exceptions ► The Auditions thread is only open for a limited time, and cannot be reopened once closed ► Winning candidates will be PM'd, and must accept their cycle offer before the deadline passes
► Entries must include: Designer & Model names, outfit title, description, and submission status ► Frequently missed or lacking submissions may rarely result in double eliminations ► Designers' overall challenge score doesn't always determine who wins or who gets eliminated ► Top Designers get the choice of keeping their Model, or switching it for the eliminated Model ► The only way to get more vouchers is to be the non-eliminated Designer in the bottom two
► The top three cycle Designers may not audition for the next competition cycle ► Cycle finalists have priority (in placement order) to judge or mentor in the following cycle

Challenge #1: What's Your Sign? Description: Designers! Do you believe in astrology? That where the stars were at in the sky on the night you were born can determine your personality? Your soulmate? What season you thrive in? The judges want you to wrangle the stars and make us believers. Let us get to know you better by designing a look inspired by your zodiac sign. Due Date: Jul. 27
Challenge #2: A Girl Who Flirts Description: Designers! With some pearls, a little lace and some bows we want you to create a beautiful coquette look for your model. Let this link guide you on your journey to bring us an endearing coquette look, but don't forget to make it your own. Give us pearls, lace and bows. Give us coquette. Due Date: Aug. 11
Challenge #3: Period. Description: Designers! How well do you know your history? This week we want to honor the fashions that have come before us. We want you to give us a period piece. You can choose the era, the period, but be mindful that we should be able to tell it is a period piece. If you choose an era that is too recent... How literal or abstract you go is up to you. Do you want to design a traditional outfit, or pick and choose pieces of the era to give us something original? Go for it. Make us scream with passion for your fashion. Due Date: Aug. 24
Challenge #4: Orange is the New Black Description: Designers, Orange is the New Black might be a hit show but we judges certainly feel like that isn't the truth when it comes to the rules of fashion. Do you also hate orange? Do you agree it's the most stressful of colors to work with? We judges are challenging you to push past those misgivings and give us a look that embraces orange! It must primarily consist of orange, but beyond that, the only limits are the ones you give yourselves. Make us believe that orange truly is the new black! Due Date: Sept. 14
Challenge #5: OMG! What is THAT?! Description: Designers, have you ever been strolling down the street or flipping through a magazine and had to do a double take because something was just so...hideous? Maybe you've seen this hideous thing and thought you could make it work. That is the energy we want you to channel this week. Below are the items you can choose from for this challenge. See the swan beyond the ugly duckling designers, and show us that beauty is all in the eye of the beholder! Due Date: Oct. 5
Challenge #6: Model Makeover Description: Designers, we have some terrible news! Your models are all having a bad hair day, and they have a photoshoot in five minutes! What's a girl to do? Hide the bad hair beneath a wig of course! This challenge you are allowed to switch out your model's hair for any hair of your choosing. Only the hair. But remember, this shouldn't look like a dollar wig fresh out the bag. Every model should be able to convince us that "tHiS iS mUh ReAyL hAiYR".
Challenge #7: Night of 1000 Icons Description: Designers, we thought it was time to pay tribute to those that entertain us. We want to see your models dressed up like their favorite pop icon! Now we know that pop icon is a broad definition, so we would like you to pick a pop icon from this list. This should be fun! Can't wait to see all these stars on the same red carpet. Due Date: Oct. 26th
Challenge #8: Freaky Friday on Project Catwalk! Description: Designers, I hate to be the one to inform you, but it seems like something has happened with the models. Maybe it is some lingering magic from Halloween, we are working on figuring out what happened. But for this challenge you have to use your model as she is: with the body of another model! To put it simply, you will all be using a different model this week. All has been randomly assigned, you will find your new model below. We want to see you embrace your new model and dress them in an autumnal look. Best of luck everyone! Challenge #9: oO0ooOOo0o ... Shiny Description: Designers, it is my pleasure to tell you that your models have been returned to their rightful bodies, and they've all received invitations to quite the soiree! We want to see them shine in metal and glam, to impress as they walk the carpet. Every paparazzi there should be scrambling to get a picture of your model. Not all that glitters is gold, but your models should shine brightly in whatever color they are wearing. Worry not! To ensure that no two people show up to the event in the same color, everyone has been assigned a color to wear. Can't wait to see the ladies all dressed up! Challenge #10: Death Becomes Her Description: Designers, do you ever think about dying? From true crime podcasts and police procedurals to classic who-done-its and sexy masked killers, death is all around us. We want you to think about all of that and tell us how your model dies. Show us the scene of her demise! How did it happen? Who did it to her? It's up to you to tell us. Be bold though, as you are our final four designers our expectations are high. But remember, these models would never be caught looking unfashionable. Keep them looking good, even in death. Due Date: Dec. 7th
The Fashion Line ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
Each finalist will create a theme within their brand, and build five (5) outfits that represent that motif throughout.
The theme can truly be anything. However, it must represent the Designer in a significant way, and the outfits themselves must tie into each other somehow. In this final test, the Judges are looking for signature style and cohesion — the Designer's own personal, preferred design aesthetic being properly featured. In other words, this final entry shouldn't showcase anything new or adventurous, but instead, embrace whatever brand the Designer has established for themselves throughout the cycle. So long as there is brand recognition, and commonality between their works of art, they can consider their fashion education complete.

The Designers' Model line-up will consist of three eliminated PC5 Models, plus their own Model, and each delegated Model must be present in the fashion line, with outfits catered to their base traits. For your fifth model you have all been assigned the same model from cycle 3: Stella This is a switch up from previous finales, and we hope you enjoy the change!
The collection will be judged both individually and collectively. How well each look is styled, how creatively they're tailored to the Model, how well the outfits fit into the fashion line, how much overall brand recognition there is, and how well the description captures the collection, and the cycle as a whole.
All five design photos must be submitted within the same masterfully crafted post, and include: Fashion Line Title, Designer Name, Model Name, Alt Models' Names, Description, and Entry Status.
With the description, it is highly recommended that each finalist take the liberty to introduce themselves and their brand, explain their chosen theme and any muses, touch on motif evidence with a few sentences per outfit, and finally, end with a couple of words to commemorate their Project Catwalk experience. It's the Designer's last chance to plead their case as to why they should be King or Queen of the Catwalk!
