 Game Starts: November 10, 2024 at 3:00pm EST Due to the nature of a CYOA, there is no set closing time. Please keep this in mind when you sign up. You must sign up and assign your stats in order to play. Prizes will be distributed when we reach the end of the story or when only one survivor remains. If the story's conclusion is not naturally reached, the rest of it will be posted after all prizes are distributed. In the event there is more than one survivor, prizes will be raffled between remaining survivors.

RULES1. Pets won from here will count as one of your event freebies. Remember, you may only win one soquili and one familiar freebie during the event!
2. You can only win one pet from this game.
3. Fill out the sign up form in its entirety. Please don't forget to put your username!
4. Please list all your preferences in order. If your list is incomplete, we will assume you do not want the remaining pets and will re-roll you.
5. Do not put 'any' or 'whatever is left'. If a pet isn't explicitly listed, we will assume you do not want it.
6. You may either proxy for someone or play for yourself. You may not do both. If you are proxying for someone, please state who in the sign up form.
7. Do not reserve posts! Please only post completed sign up forms and prompt responses.
8. You may edit your preference list and stats as much as you want until the game begins. The sign up thread will be locked at the start of the game.
9. Do not delete your posts. This is grounds for disqualification. If you make a mistake or forget to roll, you may simply repost.
10. If you have any questions, please ping me in the #ask-the-staff channel in the shop's Discord server.
HOW TO PLAY- During the sign up period, post your completed form in the sign up thread.
- When the game begins, I will post a prompt with multiple options requiring a dice roll. Each option will have an associated stat and a "DC" - this is the minimum number you must roll after adding or subtracting your stat bonuses.
- Pick the option you are most confident in and roll a d20, adding or subtracting the appropriate stat bonus to your final roll. (You may find it helpful to keep your stats in your response posts.)
- You may write a short roleplay response if you wish to. This is not requireed.
- You will have five minutes to post your response. If you do not post within those five minutes, you will be eliminated from the game. I will post "STOP" when the time is over for each round.
- In the event everyone is eliminated in a round, everyone who posted for that round will be miraculously revived to continue on.

It's a beautiful day to go on an adventure! Well, that's what any DM worth their salt is supposed to say, right? But the truth is, it's actually kind of a crappy day. Hell, it's been a crappy week. The weather's been all over the place - sweltering one day and dipping low enough for a morning frost the next - and to top it all off, today it's storming. Every so often you can see the flash of lightning followed by a low rumble of thunder, and right as you shoulder your pack and go to step out the door there's a loud CRACK that comes from immediately overhead. Well, that's pretty foreboding...
What do you do?
A: Muster all your Courage. That storm may look bad, but you had plans today! [DC: 5]
B: Rely on your Intelligence. That storm might actually be too bad to brave. [DC: 5]
