Reality Changed
Spontaneously, the bindings on Adel's Tomb unsealed themselves. After generations entombed, the Sorceresses eyes opened, as more and more of the security systems to keep her contained seem to simply undo themselves. The razer-like claws of the Sorceress punched out, piercing the bindings, before she began to pull herself out.
"CONTAI-" Began a Estharian technician, screaming in a attempt to warn others of the containment failure, before Break turned the poor man to stone. In a delay, the alarms began to blare and finally the Garden was aware of what was happening, however it was all but too late. Meteors had begun their assault on the station, the giantess casting the spell with ease. Atmosphere breaches were popping up all over the station, and countless innocents were being exposed to the cold vacuum of space.
It was with a malicious eagerness the Sorceress wielded her powers, and man, woman or child made no difference to how she would exercise her cruelty. It only made a few minutes that any sort of genuine rescue operations just would put more lives in danger for the on-board SeeD, who were attempting to keep as many alive as possible.
With reluctance, Aeliana Maris was greenlit for live armament, given a team and hoped by all that she would be able to stop this disaster. Arriving on the scene in combat space-suits, Maris and her squad were fully prepared for Zero-G combat. "Anti-Magic protocols, Sorcerer standards." She had drilled so many in techniques for combating even these types of threats, utilizing her knowledge of her mate and his family.
Adel's pace only slowed when the ambush happened, her hatred glare icing over the hearts of any she gazed upon. Even Maris felt the chill as she met the eyesight of the Sorceress. The initial bombardment of anti-magic attacks should have taken down any sorceress she knew of. Even a full SeeD team would begin to buckle under the un-restrained assault of her ambush, and all Maris knew was that she had only inconvenienced the Sorceress.
It was a sour realization when she analyzed her mistake. She had compensated for a human, for over whelming Salem if she ever needed too, but this woman was different. Forget being four times the size of the average person, her unrestrained magical potential was monstrous. Even dampened, Maris theorized she met Salem's strength. "...s**t."
