Barghest
Username: Jovi of Shadows
Personality: A troublesome loner who has a morbid obsession with death. Barghest is most comfortable in his feral form, where he wanders the dark woods in search of creatures on the brink of death. He enjoys stalking them from afar, sometimes only allowing them glimpses of his black fur, and other times appearing fully in their line of sight, just out of reach. He will follow and linger around these unfortunate creatures, never once laying a paw or fang on them, but tormenting them from afar with his dark, persistent presence. Only after they have passed will he approach to feast on his tormented victims.

When confronted directly or interrupted by interlopers, Barghest can turn vicious and violent. He may try to intimidate his foe with growls and snapping jaws, but he is more than happy to sink his teeth into anyone willing enough to get close to him. He especially cannot stand friendly or curious folk and will do his utmost to scare them off, as they make him incredibly uncomfortable, and his skin will crawl with irritation. Though few have managed to challenge him in this way, it is by far his least favorite interaction style and may potentially drive him away if pursued by this overly friendly demeanor.

Barghest is a loner by nature, simply fascinated by the idea of death and heralding the doom of those about to face their demise. He has no desire for company or companionship beyond a fleeting curiosity to those who share his ideals, though he could never bring himself to be openly friendly or spend more than a fleeting moment together with them. After all, he'd much rather spend his days in search of and silently stalking his next meal.
Any additional tidbits? He despises water and can't stand to step one paw into rivers.

Donn
Username: Tirokio
Donn's Personality:
Donn is mute, often 'speaking' with his actions over trying to communicate with simple gestures or snorts. Life has been considerably easier with his companion, Sullivan who can read him like a book and will often bridge the gap to communicate on Donn's behalf.

Donn is enamored by death, often drawn to it so primally that he will seek out the death in the very air he breaths to stand by and watch. He is a sight to behold for any poor souls to see out of the corner of their eye, still as a statue except for the excited clacking of his avian skull's beak tap-tap-tapping. Staring so intently with his glowing blood red eyes waiting for a glimpse of death and 'ferry' them back to his abode. Sullivan is a lot more polite about these encounters though, as Donn's intentions are not to harm them but merely to pay witness, the act to Donn being that no one should have to die alone and be lost.

When death is not in the air Donn wanders, seemingly uninterested in other affairs of the living. Donn is worshipped by a few who know of his existence and revered as a true god of the dead by one Deathbringer. When he cannot find death in his travels he will pass by the graveyard, paying him a visit even if Sullivan doesn't particularly enjoy the place to see the homage Deathbringer pays to Donn in how he idolizes burying the bodies for Donn to escort to his warm home - one day Deathbringer hopes that Donn will call him home too. Donn seems to understand Deathbringer's idolization of him, but doesn't certainly act like he is above anyone, his focus on death and the souls left behind.

Donn is learning more and more (not by choice) about what life can truly offer, as a byproduct of his treasured moments of death. It does spark a bit of curiosity why others cling to life so hard when there is such comfort and joy coming to his home, but he continues to see glimpses of it through others eyes and often explained by his ever patient and doting companion who eases others into the beyond.

Companion's Personality:
Sullivan isn't one who you would expect accompanying the god of death, but as one who's name means 'dark eyes' it never clicked why it had been his given name. In every body of water he could only see his bright blue eyes, anything but dark, staring back at him. It had clicked when he had seen Donn, watching and clacking as a mare had screamed out for help in her dying breaths. Donn did nothing, but Sullivan had emerged and comforted the poor mare as she passed away...only then watching Donn come over and lay beside her, Donn's ethereal body curling and wrapping over her like a blanket.

To say he had become enraptured with the being was an understatement - he truly only had eyes for Donn...the dark which arguably lived in his own eyes all this time. It had been his mission to learn all he could about Donn...slowly understanding his likes, his dislikes, the manners in which he did things very systemically. It got to a point where he could explain why Donn did what he did and that Donn wasn't here to hurt them...eventually he would lay by the dying as well, explaining to them that Donn was here to take them to the beyond where they would be safe and loved. Slowly, Donn's love became Sullivan's love, as Sullivan knew even he loved Donn deeply, platonically, and would use the rest of his life to help Donn in his journey. When that life was over? It was comforting to Sullivan that Donn would ferry him away too to his abode where they would have a true eternity together and he could continue his work on the other side.

Until then, Sullivan is a bit of a chatter mouth, often talking for the both of them on their travels but Donn doesn't seem to mind the constant prattle. Sullivan is often hesitant to get himself dirty as he worries about his appearance more than one would think of someone who deals with death. He happens to hate the stories of Donn being an Omen for death (despite it being exactly what he is if he's sought you out, and often has to console Donn when the living that they meet manage to survive.) While flattered those same stories depict him as some kind of merciful angel, he is the first to tell you he isn't...he's just the voice of Donn himself and the true merciful one is Donn.
Any additional tidbits?
Fun facts:
1) Sullivan hates shifters who aren't charmed - they make way too much mess and often pouts when Donn comes across the aftermath.
2) If you look closely, not that one would if they're faced with death staring you down, the closer you are to death the more Donn's tail will be wagging.
3) Donn often can be seen staring and ravens and crows and they him. If you asked Sullivan he believes they can speak to each other through their eyes when dealing of death around their territories.

Barghest
Username: ChexaRain
Personality: A creature 'burdened with death', the Barghest is devoid of emotion. The way he sees the world with a lack of interest or curiosity is probably what led him to being a Grim to others, a creature spoke of in whispers that leaves a trail of death if he ventures out of whatever hole he's claimed as his home.
He has no interest in socializing, and is described as a reaper with dead eyes to any that would survive an encounter with him.
He is drawn to the dark corners of the world to inhabit, though he may wander if he attracts too much attention. Despite being an unfeeling beast, he is privy to a life of solitude.
Besides, you can only leave so many bodies before they start to smell.
Any additional tidbits? The color of blood is the only thing that sparks any interest or desire in him, and could be why he is a patron of death to any who get too close.

Brighid
Username: TheFairyRogue
Personality:

As graceful as any bird in flight, as strong as the mountain that guards the valley she resides in, as beautiful as the flowering shrubs she tends to, Brighid is all of this, and much more. This mare would go above and beyond to offer aid and comfort to those in need. There is a gentle warmness that tends to exude from the mare as she goes about her day. Is it the caring hoof that she extends to all that need a brief respite that has garnered her famed reputation? Do others travel to her land just to bask in the warmth of an individual who will not judge them even when perhaps she should?

Brighid believes that everyone deserves more than one chance to change the direction their life is heading in. Everyone makes mistakes but it is her own belief that one shouldn't have to pay a toll for them. Her goal is to be the soother of all worries, be they large or small that an individual carries. Through patient listening, good food, good company, and a non-judgemental heart does Brighid hope to accomplish this. The weight that seems to be lifted from one's shoulders as they depart the valley she calls home is enough of a reward for this mare.


Any additional tidbits? Brighid's eyesight is not the greatest. Around her valley home, she's painted bright markers to each trail she needs to travel in order to get to certain places. No matter which direction she needs to travel in, there is always a bright splash of color to denote the correct path she needs. Each color represents a different locale in which she visits to garner her supplies.

Username: LydaLynn
Personality: Babd Catha enjoys watching conflict and just nudging it a little. Waiting for a tense moment before calling out sharply, laughing when the fighters flinch and falter. Not because she wants to control the flow of the battle, just to tilt things for her own amusement.

Of course, if she does have a favorite, she'll be sure to show it. And most know that if she's there it's because she sees great bloodshed comming from the fight, leading others to sometimes misunderstand her role. The fact that she often is confused with her sisters, the other Morrigna, leads to a lot of confusion. Confusion she's happy to foster.

Honestly, she just likes the bright splashes of red, the fear in the eyes of those who see her, and the fun of spectating and manipulating the conflicts of others.
Any additional tidbits? One way to get on Babd's good side, and thus encourage her to influence things in your favor, is to leave out nuts for her and her sisters. Almonds, walnuts, and cashews are all loved. She might even trade you shiny trinkets for such offerings.

KELPIE
Username: NymiiNym
Personality: Naiara may be small--even more so than others of her kind--, but the dainty and gentle-appearing kelpie has fallen many a horse in her days. Long untamed and keen to abide by her innate nature, Naiara has always worn her name with pride, drowning those who find themselves lured into her waters by her carefully crafted charm. It was always how things were--she's a kelpie, after all, that's what she was supposed to do.

But time has been long and unforgiving, and Naiara longs for something she's never had: companionship. A friend. A partner. Anyone. She wanders now, seeking someone who might spend their days alongside her. Unfortunately for herself and others, her expectations are far too high, and her patience razor-thin. Frustrations from perceived failures in impressing her lead her to return to her murderous behavior upon each encounter. Someday, maybe, this wild and bittersweet kelpie might finally find the companionship she longs for. Another part of her feels the growing loneliness souring into resentment, whispering for her to throw away her desire for belonging in favor of returning to her roots. She is, after all, a kelpie first and foremost.

Any additional tidbits?
- While small, Naiara excels at deceiving horses into tiny, tight spaces, where escape from the winding weeds and roots she fashions around their hooves and throats is nigh impossible.
- While I don't know who will tame her, I hope for her to someday find a soq to befriend and live her life beside.
