Yep, so I've decided that I'm not only going to go out for Halloween in October as Sailor Mars, but I'll also be making my way to Anime North next summer.
I would have gone this year, but well, I haven't received my costume yet, and there are a few things I want to alter before I go out in it.

So far, I've got...

What I'm going to do is get a nice plain white corset to fit on top and give me that super-skinny-anime-waist-look, lol! Especially since the only clubs I go to for Halloween are Fetish/Goth clubs and it'll help add to the "gothiness", hah.

Anyone have any idea where I could find proper shoes? I suppose red pumps aren't hard to come across, though.

And even if you can't find them in the right colour, you could probably paint them.

Yeah...like Zahmira said..even if you only find a white pair, most shoe stores will dye them for you if you give them time.

you can buy shoe dye in a department store, like Kaufmann's.

bridesmaids use the stuff...

this looks like a cool plan...

Shouldn't that brooch be a PEN? sweatdrop Only Moon used a brooch. Especially since you're using Basic Mars and not Super or Eternal.

I'm doing Sailor Mars from the Live Action version, and it's not so much a brooch as it's just the button on her front bow.
