Well, at first i liked other bands like MAE, My Chemical Romance, All-American Rejects, etc. So at first my friend told me about them, as i usually was [ignorant] and was like [noooooooo AAR & MAE are like soooooo much better] and then but as i usually do, i tried Fall out Boy for a try, and borrowed FUCT from my friend. After listening i cant stop and i love it.... No stopping now wink biggrin

the vid for Sugar kept showing up on MTV, and I loved it. I started becoming a bigger fan when I met someone who knew them (I live in Chicago, and here, EVERYONE knows someone who knows someone who knows FoB).
He just kept talking about them and saying how cool they were. So I bought Take This To Your Grave, and me and my cousins fell in L0VE. Then my cousin got CorkTree, and the rest is history. 3nodding

I hated FOB when I first saw them. Its stupid I know, but I love them more than anything now so I think it's alright to confess.
Basically, at the time I greatly disliked all those little kids that just started wearing all these band shirts of bands that they've never heard of (Hot Topic openned here). I was also listening to some pretty gnarly, non-Fall Out Boy stuff at the time (think FlyLeaf and Senses Fail).
After seeing the "Dance, Dance" music video I realized how amazingly funny those guys must've been and I ended really liking that song.
It snowballed from there.

My friend gave me a sample CD. At first, I only listened to one song and that was Cute Without The 'E' by TBS and that's the song that got me into rock. Right after that song was Grand Theft Autumn so I sort of fell in love with Fall Out Boy by accident. Hehe. I started going Limewire crazy after that and boom! biggrin

I heard Sugar and liked it so I started talking to a friend on MSN about them and he sent me a couple more songs which I liked so I got FUTCT then TTTYG. Then I became a major fan, they fast became my favourite band, I joined this guild and here I am.

I saw Grand Theft Autumn on MuchMusic back when they were still with FBR, and I thought that the song was really good. I also saw them on the PureVolume front page a couple of times. I didn't pay much attention to them then, though.
And about this time last year my cousin points them out (Well Pete more specifically rolleyes ) and I remembered about them and that's the end of that. 3nodding

my friend jimmy liked em. he took me to a show when i was ten. that was back when evening out with your girlfriend came out. he took me to some of the shows in LA. he died a few months ago, so when i went to my first fob concert without him i cried. cry

I saw SWGD on the music channel and thought it was catchy. By the third time of seeing it I was sitting in the living room all day waiting for it to come on.
