Some of my heroes in the field of, well, Film are not directors or actors, but editors. Editing is an artform. It's not "Let's get on Final Cut and see what we can do." No, it's alot more then that.
Voice actors just talk. Editors do a shitload of hard work.
I dont quite know how to take that comment, but in Koop's defence (once again assuming this is the editor in question) he has some wickedly awesome vids under his belt; in fact he did a track for MY mep that is unparalleled. And although his most popular video is an overwhelming mess of needless mattes and colors, well beyond the bounds of good taste. He worked very hard to acheive this maddess not through the ease of After Effects; he went out and bought (unlike most in the art) a cheap copy of Magix movie edit, and did in this linear crappy little program pretty much the impossible. To me that requires respect..... Because Magix is the devil
.... and Koop had the brass to accept my Appletini, from my waiter, in public, and drink it, AND enjoy it!! Even though he was under age.
Now those are balls of solid steel!
