Pregnant and...gagging to death WTF

Ok Now I am just confused...
This has happened in two different houses but I haven't saved.
Ok...Pregnant sim wakes up suddenly starts gagging falls over and dies
WHY?!?! They weren't sick....I've never seen this happen before..
Can someone explain this?

They weren't hungry? I've had pregnant sims die who were hungry, but I have heard of a glitch that kills pregnant Sims at a certain stage in the pregnancy. It was fixed up with the patch, as far as I know, but unfortunately I don't know anymore about it.

No, all stats pretty full, thats why I'm so weirded out by this.

yeah- CPS, it's a bug that came with a game where the woman randomly chokes when she's pregnant- if you have uni, then you don't need the patch and you can revive her with the motherlode cheat and the phone line to the grim reaper

I just have Normal Sims 2. And when I went to get the CD patch from the Sims2 website it said my game was already up to date. Yet she still gags and dies when I enter this house.
(and so does one of the Curious men who got pregnant by aliens again *sigh*)
So its just a glitch?

stats full, she fell over and gagged. she was holding her throat.. like she was.. choking. i got her husband to plea for her life tho...

maybe its a little realistic cuz in real life you can die from being pregnant i think

No this was a glitch in the game. They fixed it in a later patch. I had it happen to Brandi Broke. She was asleep when I loaded the house and after a few rl minutes she got out of bed to choke to death. I reloaded the house 3 times before I thought to tell her to get up as soon as I loaded the house. Telling her to get up stopped her choking to death. I've not had it happen since I patched the game.

It's just a glitch. Don't worry, if it hapens dont save and make them get up biggrin Don't worry.

If your game is fully patched then you have nothing to worry about. It got fixed.

i have a family on the sims and they've had 7 kids, one on the way and a grandkid and have never choked
