I'm not trying to mean or anything 'cause I loooooove Trent Reznor/NIN as much as anybody, but I have a question.
2 people (yeah, I know that's not a real good number of sources) told me that Trent said something that goes along the lines of:
'We're too big for New Mexico', he might've also used the city Albuquerque too, but I don't remember, sorry.
As a resident of that state, I don't believe in any way, shape, or form that he would actually say something such as that. For all I know it could've been sarcasm. From the music I've listened to, and things I've read, I do not believe this is true.
Does anybody know ANYTHING about this? surprised I think it's totally false, but I may be wrong.
I'm sorry, but seriously, this question has been bugging me for months. gonk
So, if anybody knows anything about this, pleaaaaaase post it here or something like that, 'kay?
And again, I don't believe it's true. *shrug* And uh, please don't flame me or anything. This is a honest question, and I love him and his work in NIN as much as anybody. I'm not trying to be negative or something, it's just a question I want to have answered if anybody knows anything. gonk

He was probably being sarcastic. Almost definitely.

He definetly doesn't think of himself as too big for a city or state even if it is small. He loves touring in Europe because the crowds are small(er) and they rock hard. It doesn't matter to him what size or where it's located.
He has a blog on the interwebs..I forgot where. If you want him to come there, just tell him. And also mention D.C. again. We misses him here. -tearcry-
