Astronauts have a device like that built into their suits. Since the Metroid timeline is in the very, very distant future, not only is this probably the case, but the technology for these things is probably much more sophisticated.

She pisses in her suit. It has a little collector thing. And she ejects it onto the corpse of the final boss when you aren't looking. MUAHAHA! rofl
