For as long as I've read the Ruroni Kenshin Manga and watched the show and found out the existince of Misao she quickly became my favorite character and warmed my heart by her charming and humorus attitude. Then quickly after I found out her love for Aoshi. I started rooting for the couple and they quickly became my favorite parring.
Now I found out there are just as many fans of the realationship as there is enemys. I wanted to know why you feel the way you do about the realationship (weither you support it or not.).

Um, duh, they do. It just goes to show that opposites attract. Veeeeery opposite personalities, lol.

Of course they're a couple. There are abundant clues in the manga, especially the Jinchuu Arc. Read Kaoru's last comment about Aoshi and Misao in volume 28 and you'll see what I mean.

In one of the final shorts, Aoshi and Misao are not stated as a couple, but certainly act like they are. I fully believe Aoshi loves Misao but wouldn't try to show it until she grows into more of a woman. (Just a little bit more.) Then I think they would definitely get together. I love them as a couple too... not as much as KxK, but still lots.
And yes... they are definitely polar opposites. The few fanfics I've read that portray them as enemies are usually a.) yaoi or b.) they get together in the end. I don't think I personally have ever found a real anti-AxM story.

Sometimes they change the name so that people wont move away from them.

I think it's cute how Misao was in love with Aoshi and I support it but you also have to think that she is only 16 (according to the anime) and Aoshi is (I believe) a good ways ahead in age.
