NO!

It was an alien cow from Saturn that went too far and hit Earth. It was supposed to go to Mars. But being on Earth, it gathered information and then left. Thus, jumping over the moon to get to Mars or back to Saturn.

i loved that song.... story... thing, when i was little!

The cow got a huge sling shot and shot himslef right over the moon. Once she got away from the earth it was fine because of the lack of friction. Going over the moon was a bit tricky because of the gravity, she just barly made it. Then when falling back to earth, she caught on fire and burned all the way to the ocean where she became a flying fish. And that is how the cow jumped over the moon.
