Do all dead people become ghosts?

I just had a sim die of old age, and was wondering will all sims become ghosts?

Yeap. Unless you moved their graves away or delete them.

Any idea on how long it takes them to start showing up? She has been dead 2 days now, and so far she is a no show.

Well some ghosts take aaages to arrive, and others appear within a day. There really isnt a set time. =

What is the cause of death?

Usually they'll appear if you match their wife/lover with someone else or if you make someone (a stranger) using their stuffs, such as their beds.

5. burning
6. starvation
7. satellite
8. death by flies
9. scared to death

They are each a different color (from what i heard..) i hardly ever see them... but my sims dont normally die..... i try to keep them alive, and get new ones often.... but yeah they will be a ghost, you will probably see them eventually....

Yeah, I was playing the Dreamer family about a year ago, and I got the dad hooked up with another chick. His dead wife's spirit wasn't pleased, and when I sent the teen outside, she scared him to death. It really made me sad since I was only trying to reunite the child with his mother & she practically murdered him.

They only show up if your sims disliked them. Then they haunt people.
