My Proposition!!


It's been bugging me for a while, that we have all these awsome characters and stories that we've all created, that mostly focus on our own created characters... It makes me want to draw it all out and turn it into a manga or story, but then it would only be an FF7 Doujinshi, and ... well, frankly we leave out the main story characters so much it wouldn't be a very popular one... so I've been thinking, if we could alter the orriginal FF7 background enough to make it orriginal, we could really turn this stuff into an awsome story!!
Except... FF7 is so complicated and convoluted that changing it without changing our own story too much would be very difficult. However, I think I've finally managed to work out a scenario different enough, without being too similar that we could do it!!! But before I start... I'd want to know whom among you would or wouldn't want your characters included.

Story So Far:

The basic concept is this, some Scientists have been searching for a way to create eternal life, others have been working on bringing back the dead. One group of scientists combined the research. They created an immortal Draugr king Deyn. This immortal partial undead has the power to 'poison' others with his 'viral' curse. Those he afflicts can be controlled by him to varying extents. Sky was intended to be one of his victims, but the process was interupted, Hence why Sky can still think for himself.

I've eliminated JENOVA completely, that would be a dead give-a-way.

Anyways the story starts with the final battle, Sky defeating Deyn. And his decision to disapear into the world, he will be a renouned hero but he doesn't want the fame. (yeah he still has to be depressive... but more of a Vash the Stampede sad.) So Sky and his small group of heros disapear.

Then OUR characters start the new saga.

What do you think? I'm thinking of working with the Midgar water supply and going into the Temple of the Ancients Scenario a little too. any other suggestions, protests or character submissions?

Sky's hair is black and he wears a skin-tight black body suit under the clothing, to hide all the scars! xd

FINALLY!! Valerian is NOT that easy to draw, I had a tough time working out the details of his weapon, it's not the sort I ussually draw. xp ANYWAYS, I'll have to do two versions of him. One WITH his cape and hat... and then this one, where he pulls out the TRUE version of his weapon, and removes the rest of the outfit.



Normally he weilds daggers, which are those curvey blade things which also attach to the whip.

SO ... with no more ado, here is SKY!! I finally finished his piccy.



you may noticed I changed the design of his swords a little, the blades are about an inch THICK at the back and those huge notches are things called "Sword-Breakers" Specifically designed to nick-up and crack an opponent's sword in half. The insides of those notches are serrated razors to chip at the opponent blade. xd Cool stuffs ne?

Dialogue excerpts:

((Angel and I have been speculating on weapons and personality quirks for the main characters, Sky is very serious and intent on his goal. Seisui is annoying always pestering asking questions and Valerian is quiet but with a remarkably wry and sarcastic sense of humor... particularly towards Seisui. ))


Sky and Valerian are trying to sleep in the shade of trees,

Seisui - "I swear he's some kind of blood-suckinng unholy person!" pointing at Valerian, "I swear we should throw garlic at him or something, maybe that would make him stop following us!"

Sky- frowning, and annoyed. "Following us?.... why are either of you here? Why do I even keep you around?!"

Seisui - "You need us! we protect each other!"

Valerian - "My theory has always been that he keeps us around because he's secretly in love with one of us.... haven't figured out which one yet."

Sky- Stands up abruptly, "Thats it! we're going!"

Seisui - "But we just got here! Hey wait!!" races after Sky.




The scientific groups- noticing Valerian and company on their observation ... stuff.

Metanoia: Hey... what's that?... He looks intruigingly and unusually powerful...

Amaranthine: Hey... yeah he does... cool! I wonder if he's claimable...

Metanoia: Wait, wait! I recognise that guy! He's one of ours!!

Amaranthine: No he isn't... if he were yours than he'd still be in your labs!

Metanoia: No no, he just got away, but he's still ours!

Amaranthine: If he got away than he's unclaimed!!!!

Metanoia: Nu-uh! You can't just claim him!!

Amaranthine: Sure we can, you don't have dibs he's not in your labs!

Metanoia: You can't if we RE-Claim him first!!!

Amaranthine: I've already got a head-start!!

Metanoia: Hey! stop!!! He's ours!!
