What would you do if there ceased to be a Nine Inch Nails?

I would make a shrine, pray to it every day in hopes of more music. But that is reserved for the break-up of Rammstein, and the death of Billie Joe Armstrong.... But I could make a definate exception. I just hope to god I die before I ever see that day come.

But what if the most horrible thing happened..... Trent died. gonk crying

I detest people who get suicidal when a band splits up. Not only is it sad, but it's extremely selfish.
It's not like bands split to annoy fans; if anything, they probably stay together longer FOR the fans. Most of the time, there is disagreements with members or they just go their own seperate ways.
If they stayed together just because fans would "kill themselves" the music would be nowhere near as good. It would be better to let them split, give them time to lick their wounds, and remember them for the amazing music they used to make. Just because they're not together doesn't mean you can't listen to their CD's.

On the issue of Trent dying; it's going to happen one day. Yeah sure, it's going to be a very sad day, and a loss of a talented musician. But haven't you ever seen The Lion King? It's the circle of life.

I would be sad if Trent stopped making music. But if you want to take it to a more drastic level like if, say, all previously made NIN music was erased from existence, I might do something crazy then.

Er. Well; if NIN didn't exist, I technically wouldn't know about them, so I guess I wouldn't be effected? I'd probably be a bit of a different person though, admitadly.

If Trent died? Yeesh. Be pretty sad, but theres nothing I would be able to do. RIP, hypothetical Trent, RIP.
