If anyone's read Watsuki's new series, what do you think of it so far?
Personally, I think it's pretty good. 3nodding
I like the main character who's name escapes me.
He reminds me a bit of Kenshin, Misao and Yahiko.
And Tokiko. I think she's cute. <3

I have no idea what Watsuki is about. Where do you get it? Could I get it on e-bay perhaps? If so then forget it. I don't have a credit card and I don't have a friend who could pay for my purchases...

Buah! It was pretty interesting. I might want to continue with Rurouni Kenshin with I forget what it is called something like Yahiko's Sakabatou or whatever. Gah. Brain farting. But so far so good! :3

I have a couple chapters downloaded...and I know I'll be able to find another site or a MSN group to read it...It's just I haven't had the time...I'm too busy reading/catching up on 9 different manga...I got about 13 pages in...

It's definately not as good as Rurouni Kenshin, but it has it's pluses. I like Tokiko (main female character) way more that Kaoru. Tokiko is so strong, he had to handicap her in the first book so she doesn't outshine the main male character. I also like to see the similarities between the characters in the books.

I own the first volume, untranslated.
Actually, Kazuki seems to be more like Shinya from "Meteor Strike".
Although, Watsuki-san did say Tokiko was slightly based off of the Battousai. =3

I just read the back of it, and I must say, it sounds an AWFUL lot like FMA...

She declares she's a "master nurse", goes way over the top, and wraps Tokiko (the story's heroine) in bandages. As you can see, I love this series. I love seeing the growth in Watsuki's writing skills. Comepare the first and final volumes of ruroken to see what I mean.

I;ve read the first three books to the series, and I really like it!
Tokiko is so ruthless, it's awesome...I like her much better than Kaoru...
Kazuki is really selfless, just like Kenshin, but he doesn't carry as many scars on his soul. He also seems so pure and innocent...I like him a lot, too! Good characters. Not to mention, Buso Renkin is very funny!
