It's just really a fan coupling, it isn't official ^^ Just like SakuNaru ( SakuraxNaruto) or any other coupling, unless we read/see the characters say " I love you" to eachother, it isn't a real coupling. Frankly, I prefer him with Ino anyway 3nodding

No and no one knows. They are just friends at the moment. Shikamaru's got the total hots for her but Temari is so... I don't know. She could break his heart. xd
Anyway, the rumor is totally to blame on Naruto. Remember, he isn't that bright. He doesn't understand the two countries work in harmony. So when he saw them together, he assumed. It would be an *ahem* interesting pairing, but didn't Shikamaru once say that he wanted to marry an average woman? No offence to Temari, but she might not be "average" enough for him.
