I think anything goes as long as it's intelligent, doesn't create controversy, and just plain interesting, I suppose. I did an "I'm new" poll about anime, manga, j-pop, gaming, hooked on Gaia with no life and poll whore option. I had a large response, but found the different tastes interesting. But most interesting was anime beat poll whores two to one exclaim
