I can see the venom...
*Grinds teeth in irritation and eye twitches slightly.*
Nothing I hate more than people like that. They ANNOY ME SO.
And what's worse is after they declare their undying love for FOB, they ask to borrow your CD. So they can know for sure if they really do like them. Bludeh poseurs.
... In your eyes.

Yes. That has been occuring more and more to me. It always happens when I'm trying to chat in the music forum. Ugh. MTV=SATAN. But anyways, I hate the term "posers" and I'd rather like to think of them as "ignorant" because that trully is what they are, these little mainstream whores. It's hard breaking for the real fans that have been listening to the band before the band "made it big". But with a band like Fall Out Boy, I was reluctant to see them hit the mainstream. Yeah, it was a little weird at first and they started picking up these faux fans, but at least a dedicated, hard-working band that actually writes their own songs has come to be famous. They did what I always expected them to do and that was bring a whole bunch of bands up with them to get the spotlight too. Thus, Panic! At the Disco.
I do see what you're saying. These people that you speak of are extremely irritating but we have to deal with them I guess. mad

ALL of the girls at my school are like that. When I wear my FOB t-shirts, they're all "OMFG! I LOVE THEM!"
And, yeah.. exactly what everyone else said.
(rawr, my bad sleeping habits, how I hate you.)

To be honest I first started liking fall out boy when I heard "Sugar we're goin down" and I loved it. And of course I said I loved the band and stuff so I guess I used to be one of those people. And then I heard dance, dance, which made me love them even more... And then I got "From Under The Cork Tree" and I grew to like "I've got a dark alley and a bad Idea that says you should keep your mouth shut" as my favorite song. And THEN I bought "Take this to your grave" and my new favorite fall out boy song (and still is) "The patron saints of liars and fakes".
but in the order I heard/bought stuff---
1)Sugar, we're going down 2)Dance, Dance 3)From Under The Cork Tree bought 4)Take this To Your Grave bought 5)Video for A Little Less 16 candles was made 6)My heart will always be the B-Side to my tongue bought 7)From under the cork tree bonus album bought cool Evening out with your girlfriend bought
So, I guess I used to be one of those hated people... but I didn't keep it up. Am I hated??? Please tell me I'm not hated! gonk

LOL, at first I was like "Boo! They suck!" Then, Dance Dance grew on me(I still have it on!) and I began to look for their older stuff cuz I didn't want to be the girl who had a FOB t-shirt and only knew 2 songs. So now I have all their cds, but only two vids.

To be honest I didn't know about them until "Sugar, We're Goin' Down" hit Myspace. When I first listened to it there I didn't like. But thenI heard it a couple times later and fell in love. I bought the things in such an odd order. :B
- From Under the Cork Tree. - Evening Out With Your Girlfriend. - My Heart will always be the B-side of my tongue. - Release the Bats. - Take this to your grave.
Heh. A little out of order.
Anyway. Posers. I don't really care. I haven't met any.
Off topic: I HATE Green Day. D:<

I loved them after FUTCT came out.
But the first song I heard was Our Lawyers.
Weird.
And then I heard Yule Shoot Your Eye Out, and THEN sugar.
And then dance, dance, and then I bought the CD.
And then TTTYG... EOWTG... b-side.

I walk up to suspicious people wearing Fall Out Boy shirts and go "if you like Fall out boy so much, name 5 songs." them "Umm -giggle- Surgar we're going down SWINGING; dance, dance and this other song but i don't know the title -giggle-" me: that was only three, and one of the titles was wrong and you don't even know one of the titles. You lose."
talk2hand It may sound mean, but I have loved these guys since the beginning and I'm not letting any brats who know nothing about them say that they "LUV" them.
