Are they for goths?

In my opinion? No. Jhonen Vasquez HATES goths, and has said so in multiple interviews. Check out his "Anne Gwish" comic and you'll see. So, no, I don't think they're for goths, though, I don't think he'd care who bought them: he'd still get the money.

Then who are they for?

Most of his comics appeal to teenagers, mostly high-schoolers.

While they're certainly more sophisticated than your typical comics, they're nowhere near the level of "Sandman" or "Watchman" or other such "adult" comics.

I actually do agree with you but I do believe that most Goths read them like All the Goths at my school(my friend) All read JtHM and Sqwee so we Believe they r but I agree with you but ppl please tell me what you think.

I think he's pretty decent, but I can see why you thought his comics are goth: the art style.
It's pretty dark and sort of distorted, but the subjects in his comics are not gothic. Aliens, nut jobs, etc.

As I said, they appeal to teenagers. Because of this, all the goths at your school may like them, but as you meet more adult goths, you'll find that Jhonen's comics aren't all that popular.

and yes it is goth, and its just as much a self parody

its complex messages and social commentary wrapped in light comedy

its quite a piece of work
