OK, my fiance writes poetry, FANTASTIC poetry, and I think it should be published, but he's unsure about it. So I figured I'd post my favorite poem (and the only one I know by heart; he has all his poems and is currently a thousand miles away) and see what you guys think. Is is worth trying to get published?
(It doesn't have a title.)
I wish, I want, I need, I think That I should buy, somehow recieve The brand new bunny rabbit hive for my new magic show.
I think I thought I'd thank you much For such a crucial ruse to use As my excuse for never having my homework to show.
I say, said I, I saw a sight That sickened me to see so sad; A hundred hares hunched on their haunches, homeworkily burping Hungry eyes eyeing me.

Hmm, it's an interesting poem, that's for sure. Perhaps you could try and see if publishers want this?
There's a chance you'll get turned down, but there are always people who like this sort of thing.
I think you should try and get it published, or, if you get the chance, ask a proffesional poet?
